Cmeha Smena 8M USSR Russian Film Camera 35mm How to use/ Guide/ Review/ Tutorial/ Rewind

One of the very basic camera that’s made in USSR, Didn’t really had one before this.
In my personal Opinion I would say that it’s a great cam without knowing that the rewind it’s a pain in the ass HAHAH, or maybe I’m using the wrong method, not sure about that. Let me know in the comment section. The rewind part starts Around 6:30
It comes with Several Shutter speed, B, 1/250, 1/125, 1/60, 1/30, 1/15s. You can also change the F stop Of it to your desired aperture which is F4 To F 16. It’s really great if you want to look for a Cheap Viewfinder Rangefinder Camera, not only it has all the things you need, it’s also a really great option if u want to Practice Shooting without a light meter.
Lastly, it’s a cheapass Plastic Built Camera that has nothing to compare with any other Pns but THE GREATEST. Why? No need battery to function, No fancy settings, No light meter, Pure Skill. IGHT PEACE OUT

Very nice little camera. I purchased mine couple of days ago. In the original box with leather pouch and the best par is that it was NEVER USED. For only $15. Loaded the film with ease. I don't know why many people have trouble with it, its super easy. Just tilt the left side where the film is going to be attached slightly to the right and insert the end of the film, press in the middle, wind a bit so its straight and close the back. I would suggest to anyone who plans on using this camera to purchase the original leather pouch for it to avoid film getting exposed from the light, as the camera has a bit of space even when closed. So either buy its original leather pouch and keep it in when taking photos or put some electrical tape on the edges.

neat. there are a ton of cheap plastic american cameras too but NONE of them are manual like this. this is actually pretty neat. but yeah - how much are they?

The American ones don't have them soviet lenses. Thats the best part with Russian cameras. Even the crappy ones have amazing lenses made from glass and not plastic like American ones in this range. If you liked this one you should definitely check Zorki 10.
