On Flash Morgan Webster’s podcast Alex Shelley said that, Cornette gave the MotorCity MachineGuns the book on tag team wrestling, and the Guns turned around and gave it to those ungrateful Spot Bucks. So wouldn’t you know it. Those Spot Bucks actually used something of Cornette’s. Who knew that old crazy bastard knew a thing or two about wrestling

This is the perfect time for Tony Khan to hire Jeff Jarrett, Shane Douglas, Cary Silkin & Gabe Sapolsky as the Bookers and Creative Committee for AEW & ROH and points of contact, along with Madusa Miceli & Jazz handling AEW & ROH Women's Division. There needs to have a filtering system which information and communication is given to Tony Khan. No way he should have all this responsibility of handling these politics backstage. Jeff Jarrett & Shane Douglas, with Kenny Omega, should be able to handle it all for AEW (Dynamite & Rampage), while Cary Silkin & Gabe Sapolsky would be handling all aspects of Ring of Honor & AEW Dark Elevation. Women's Pro Wrestling legends and former Women's World Champions Madusa Miceli & Jazz both can handle the bookings AEW & ROH Women's Division. All Elite Wrestling, as a business and product has came to a point where AEW has evolved pass the AEW EVPs (The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega). While I see Kenny Omega staying with AEW, the days of the Young Bucks (as well as " Hangman" Adam Page) in AEW may be numbered. Also, CM Punk was initially supposed to be a part-time & semi-retired like Sting, not the current AEW World Champion. CM Punk has to be careful not looking like WCW 1995-2001 "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan in regards to taking spots from younger Pro Wrestlers and doing backstage politics.

Punk is still drawing and out drawing everyone else. You put the strap on him, you don't wait until he's even older, you give him a good run and then you have him Elevate someone when he drops it. He's older but he's still 20 years younger than Sting. If aew is ever going to get past being a niche product then they need to start putting Stars up front so that people will watch. You elevate others as you go

Sometimes I wonder about wrestlers as well coz on one hand, they don’t want to work for somewhat bad guy Vince and on the other hand they don’t want to work for a too nice guy TK. Well then just go to NJPW instead and make less money and matches are so much more physical and stiff.

You always respect the veteran, no matter what jobs you have. You will go nowhere if you don’t have a respect for them. Especially if that veteran is the one who makes money for the company

None of the EVPs were a problem until Punk got there.... the best stories AEW has had were all before Punk and long term now we are booking quick squash matches and doing anything to not hurt CM Punk's feelings. Not saying that EVPs aren't wrong at all but Punk is just as if not more wrong. How can he judge them for not wanting to take advice or do certain things? Say certain things but then he goes into business for himself. Nobody considered this stuff a big deal till Punk made it a big deal. Punk being the champ and veteran and top guy that's unacceptable imo

They were a problem. However, you didn't have anyone, that was big enough or didn't care to lose their job like Punk to be public about it. As someone else has mentioned, there have been issues for most of AEW, but it has been kept quiet. FTR can attest to that.

Bullshit, Punk went offscript because he was trying to bring fans back to what was becoming a stale, stagnant product which started to cater primarily to children and not take into consideration what young adults watching might want out of the product. Punk capitalised on a situation in a company where the pro-wrestling side of things was being dropped and replaced with "entertainment" and he was making a statement which was essentially that wrestling and wrestlers can be entertaining. Punk was trying to bring old school fans back to a product. What was Page doing on the other hand? Finding an excuse to be unprofessional in a company that needed more structure and order by airing his personal issues with Punk publically lol If a situation makes sense to capitalise on and is properly built up Punk would have no issue with either himself or Page being painted as a heel! But it was something Page just decided to do unprofessionally without consulting anyone else he was working with! Why is that important? Because he was intentionally hurting Punk and by extension the company he was working for! So, sorry but no, you don't have the right to ignore context whenever it suits you and throw around words like hypocrite when your own bias is taking centre stage lol

Generally wasn't a fan of most the things he said, but this was spot on. Tbh Hangman's attitude towards veterans and legends in general doesn't seem the best.

If he doesn't want any advice then why get mad for not giving advice. What a drama queen. He is not on the same level as the greats. He is B tier for the not part. This diva has got to go. That aew belt means nothing with him holding it.

Wow chick magnet didn't take long to revert to his true self. I remember his promo at the 1st dance was he was here to help put over the young guys like Darby, JB, Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs and all the great young talent that's here. Really wish i wouldve known about MidSouth and Smoky Mountain when i was younger. REAL wrestlers like Claudio, Bryan, Dax, Cash, Punk, Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, etc. Need to be the ones fronting the company while working with the younger dudes like Gunn Club, Lee Moriarty, MJF, Yuta, Daniel Garcia, etc.
