I absolutely love my little Clumber and she loves me back. I had two show dogs that were my wife's when I met her, after they were gone, we had two rescues from puppy mills. They were so traumatized but with a lot of love and care, the Clumber personality shines through. They're just so sweet by nature. Patience, Persistance and Postivity is all they need. (Well Food) We adolped a female pup at nine months old. She gets attention everywhere she goes with me. Some say they're slow but the girl I have is a lightning bolt when a rabbit or squirrel and especially birds are in the yard. She could almost keep up with the boxer we had! Biggest wiggle butt ever! She just loves women and children. Maria, you nailed it pretty good: "Goofiest, most stubborn, sweetest, laziest, grumpiest and most gentle dog ever." I've had 5 of these dogs in my life and they are the best. They are great hunting and tracking dogs. Sometimes she makes me feel like I should be a hunter so she can have the job she was bread for. She has brought more joy to my life than anyone could ever imagine. (Thank you Christy for hooking us up.)

Definitely the best ever dog breed. I have the goofiest, most stubborn, sweetest, laziest, grumpiest and most gentle dog ever. After a Clumber your done, no other breed can replace them. I love my boy to pieces, and he loves us all just the same.

Someone once told me, "every day you will laugh", and that's pretty much true for the last 20 years.

Well we have a little girl 13 weeks old and we love her !!

I've had two over the last 20 years, and they have been outstanding family companions. The only thing I can't speak to is their hunting utility. I've heard it's very good, especially in dense underbrush, but I've never personally tested it. Bathing should be higher. They rarely need baths, as most dirt falls off of them and what doesn't can be easily brushed out. Barking should be near 10. They can bark, but my first dog barked maybe 5 times his whole life. And it was more of a singular "woof". Our second one barked a bit more, maybe once or twice a year. We have been to a couple of Clumber club parties (one of which was in our back yard) and it was the strangest sight. Over a dozen snow white dogs, meeting, playing, exploring, and running amok, but completely silent.

I had a clumber spaniel for 13 1/2 years and he was the best dog I have ever had. He was so loving and funny.

The shedding rating needs to be 0. I have completely given up wearing black but they are worth it. Train ability needs to 10. Have had 2 from different breeders and it was the same for both dogs - show them a couple of times and they have got it.

Your ratings doesn’t make sense as you present them. 2 for shedding (which means a high amount) but you get a 10 for affection with Family (a high amount)… what? Lol
