I have now my 3rd Entlebucher. Big Jake is now 6. My first was Rex, Died of Cancer with 8. My second was Rexy. ( not the same name ) 14. Natural death. and now we have out Big jake 6 . everything is cool, but we are getting older 66 . He will be my last. Everyone, have a look at those dogs , there are for me, the best family dogs ever.I also have Cancer and jake is the whole day by me. A REAL Dog.
I loved my Zoey. She made the last 12.5 great. I hope to find another one.
Have mine for 8 months now What a blast great dog so far ! I think socializing early is key though but otherwise she’s been easy to train /handle. Never heard of a entlebucher but one fell in our laps(long story)

Honestly.... my entlebucher just got pregnant, I called 3 vets for pricing on a health check and ultrasound. All 3 said what the f is an entlebucher? It's not in our system lol. Too funny😂

My dog is a mix. When we got her we didnt know what she was mixed with. A trainer saw her and the first thing he said was "Shes an entlebucher". We took a DNA test (Wisdom Panel) and it came back 12.5% GSD, 12.5% Am. Bulldog, 25% Rottie, and the other 50% "unknown"..lol She has the same body type, temperament, and most of the markings (albiet the white coloring cuts off at the bridge of her nose, and theres a break in the white between her chest and neck).
Are these easier for a novice owner than the Appenzeller? And why are they costly to keep?

my vet also did not know the breed..i think mine may truly have beagle as he is only 39 pounds and 2 1/2 I wish I could let him off leash cause he LOVES to run but yes he has the wanderlust and terrible recall- he wants to play me..
I am thinking to buy an entlebucher
In February ,if we are lucky we will have a new Rexy, my wife hates we already for the name
I found mine when it was stray and almost got ran over by a ups truck
