I love the improvements you did to your videos making them much more enjoyable

I got 200ml bottle of CDNIM EDP for around £30 almost 4 years ago. Initially I didn’t like it because of that sharp, lemon scented cleaner like opening; however, after over 3 years of just sitting on the shelf, I have to say that the opening has changed a lot and all the harshness is gone. The performance and projection are still outstanding and I feel like this is one of my most complimented fragrances together with BDC EDP and Moustache EDP.

Incredibly nice to hear you provide an historical account on both of these and how that plays a role in everything. Love to see these details. By the way, congrats on the 400k champ!

CDNIM edt is the most "complimented" fragrance that I own. It's one of my favorites. It's literally better than most of the designer stuff sold at retailers. I will never understand all the complaints about it.

Great review! I haven't had the opportunity to test the CDNIM EDP yet. I have a sample of Explorer and really enjoy it! I also have a sample of Creed Aventus. Explorer like you mention is mixed well. If CDNIM EDP has any hint of "synthetic" like I am hearing, than it's not for me. I won't know know until I try it.

Pricewise, I went with Zara's Vibrant Leather Oud. It's a very popular take on Aventus. Smells great and no complaints. Get it on sale and it is a bargain!

Awesome timing, CDIM is my scent of the day EDT, love this one and I have 2 or 3 of every version. Just love throwing this on when running around town.

You have each version. Which is your favorite? I'd be cool spending an extra $30 or $40 for CDNIM LE, but would I be spending all that just for a better opening? Which would you recommend?

@Matthew-_ The dry downs on all of them are almost identical. It's getting there that is a small difference between them all. The T is a monster projector at first and very citrus-like. As you go up to the LE it's much more reserved and less loud. I love the T when I'm going out or when I work out, protection is great. It lasts about 6 hours on my skin, but I'm very heavy on the trigger. For $28 dollars the T is great. Save your money but only if you can get through the opening which I love. Some people can't. If you don't like loud, then get the Parfum ot the LE.

I would not recommend perfumes in nature. Bees ,wasps,hornets would be attracted to it. I work with pests so unfortunately i am speaking from experience. @@livinglife3230

Just ordered mine. I went with the OG instead of the new limited edition one but seems like people are happy with it. I can't see anything being more likable to me right now than Y which is my usual go to but I gotta see what all the hype is about

I live where it's hot all year round, so the Explorer gets the most wear. Because Explorer is very easy to wear and versatile for all occasions. CDNIM EDT is indeed versatile too, but in some places it becomes cloying. CDNIM EDT is even more on your face compared to CDNIM EDP. If this comparison includes CDNIM EDP, it is clear to me that CDNIM EDP is the winner.

I remember when I was first getting into fragrances, CdNIM was just becoming popular and I was like SWEET, I'll be able to see what Aventus smells like without going poor. Man, when I got that opening I was convinced the 500 trillion people who loved Aventus were absolutely insane. Ah, the naivete 😂

I really enjoyed this face off match between fragrances. Hope you do more.

For me explorer makes a great base layer spray. So much versatility in that regard

Actually they're about the same price if you do the edp ..you can get the edt cheap but edp, parfum and special edition parfum are the same as explorer (100 ml) at your price point maybe even a tad more expensive. The only bottle I can find in edp concentration is the 6.8 which is twice the size of the 100ml explorer and they both go for about $60

Scent wise I prefer MBE. I have CDNI LE. My question can I layer the two?

I’ve got a few vintage aventus bottles. And club gets me compliments at work and running errands. 4 hr mark and magic happens turns into pineapple and woods

Mont Blanc hands down way better and more refined smoother. ATH reviewed a bunch of these Aventus clones and Explorer was highly rated.

Highly disagree. I get waaaaay more compliments w club. Less expensive as well. This is not even close. Club last all day as well

I use and like them both. Club de nuit Intense projects better with longer longevity. Bit harsh opening but fade right away. And way cheaper. Explorer is smoother, more mature than CDNIM. I used to use CDNIM alot for gym or outdoor activities but now I see myself using Explorer more.

I got sold on on Explorer when i smelled it on someone thinking it was aventus and they told me it was Mont Blanc. Classy smooth not overpowering or obnoxious and doesn't break the bank. 👍

Al Haramain NAILED it! I’ve not been able to find the OG or the intense L’aventure. Does anyone know why/if they’ve discontinued them?

While I don't find women care for Aventis DNA nearly as much as men do, I much prefer Monte Blanc. MB is one of my daily favs. It's much brighter, interesting , fresher and citrusy. I find the CDNIM is flat and just settles into that.....well "old box" scent that's in the DNA quickly. I love the MB and rarely reach for the CDNIM. The wife says....."meh.....it's ok".

I go with MBE. CDNI is so synthetic. So chemically infused to my nose. So harsh.

Montblanc Explorer & YSL La nuit de l' homme = My all time best smelling fragrances ❤ As for Armaf CDN, i like a lot the Urban Elixir 👍

I have a bottle of the original CDNIM from around 2 years ago and the opening has settled down without the harshness. Seems macerating did work here.

An overbearing opening of lemon isn’t even close to describing club de nuit. It’s EXTREMELY musky in the opening instead and just nasty. The dry down is definitely really nice though, so it may be worth it for some. However not everyone has the time to wait around for it to dry before heading out. I also noticed club de nuit lasts just a bit longer than explorer, although explorer overall smells the closest to aventus. The performance just isn’t very great. It’s mid sadly, but def smells like better quality/put together better like you mentioned.

I liked mont blanc explorer smell but definitely super soft projection and low performance.. you may have to over spray and reapply during the day again 😅

I absolutely love Explorer, however I started using it as my office scent daily and become nose blind to it pretty quickly. Anyone else feel that?

Yes. I love Explorer but it’s disappointing performance. Perhaps that’s what it has most in common with Aventus

Am I crazy to say I've never really gotten that lemon cleaner smell from CDNIM? I get an immediate hit of Pineapple which I've heard people say it lacks. Had my bottle for 3-4 years now.

I wear Chanel de Blue parfum, spicebomb extreme, Dior Savage etc and rarely get complimented.But whenever I wear CDNIM l always get compliments....so l love this aftershave❤

It's cool to think how my experience with cdnim makes it so easy to forget every con mentioned in the scoring.

Cdim is definitely a compliment getter and performance is better but as far as the scent goes I like explorer slightly modern

DUA Poseidon series isn't too bad either. Especially the blends for the adventurous.

why is Authentic Man not included in this?

Explorer is alright it just dries down and smells like dryer sheets on top of aventus, which I do not like. It's a fuzzy, blurry version of the DNA. Club De Nuit is very intense in the opening, but the quality and scent profile is just better. Performance is beastmode off of me as well. The roughness of the dark notes mixed with fruity notes is a combination that I am addicted to at this point.

I’m def in the Explorer camp. I had CDNIM and gave it to my dad. He doesn’t wear it. I have the Limited Edition and that’s better for sure. I like L’Aventure Intense over all of them.

Cdnimlep has such a great manly drydown. It’s easily my top 5 fragrance. I’ve smelt in my life, number one is Aventus preform 2021 and on.

Finally someone who knows Aventus .

At least tell us which batch for CDNIM.

i got a sample for MB explorer and i felt the explorer dont last long .

To me, these two fragrances are very different from each other. And while CDNIM isn't 1:1 to the OG in the opening, its drydown is very close. But Explorer's drydown is actually closer to that of Dior Sauvage than to Aventus.

Yo you get it! Explorer reminds me so much of sauvage and I don’t see the Aventus connection at all. I still rock explorer and its gotten me compliments, I just get bored wearing it. I do layer it with BDC from time to time and when I get the ratios right it smells amazing

Club de Nuit Intense Man has been my #1 complimented fragrance ever (130+ bottle collection) since it came out in 2015. The only other fragrance that is on par was my 2010 K batch Aventus...so that should tell you something about CdNiM. And I've gotten just as many compliments during the opening as the dry down...and I'm not a CdNiM opening fan.

Does your club de nuit intense man have a sharp lemon opening ? Kiosk at the mall was selling it and I tried the tester and it smelled amazing opening & dry down honestly like the best batch of creed Aventus I’ve ever smelt when I got home opened the brand new bottle sprayed it smells like lemon pledge cleaner! Did I get scammed?

Ashton alerted me to CDNIM Limited Edition and I'm onto my 3rd bottle. Despite my huge collection of over 300 fragrances, it is my most complimented (especially from other men), and without doubt my most worn

I must have a bad bottle because imo explorer beats the edt easy. L'aventure intense, supremacy silver and not only intense do as well. Now the limited edition smacks all of them. The edt bottle is just sitting. Hopefully it gets better

i got both from the video and also cdnim limited editon... for me first place is limited edition then the normal edition and then montblanc...mantblanc doesnt last at all, cdnim are way stronger... there is a 8euro (germany) clone out here from La Rive - Black Creek (now Black Water) i think its like montblanc but is alot cheaper...it only lasts 3 hours but thats ok for 8euro i can spray 20 times every two hours LOL great for refreshing on hot summer days...

Supremacy not only intense! I dont know the first choice you listed but owning the other two id say Supremacy is better, much much much longer lasting, much stronger scent. Supremacy has a strong smell of blackcurrant or blackberry though.

club de nuit intense men edt and al haramain L' Aventure intense edp are the closest creed aventus clone what i've experienced. The Al Haramain has the best initial spray of creed aventus opening.

cdnmi is the best to me. Turith blue edp 👍💯

So I recently started with a frag collection and ended up blind buying the following scents: 1. Lattafa Kamrah 2. Lattafa Asad 3. Lattafa Ameeer al oudh 4. Afnan 9pm 5. Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense 6. Mancera Instant Crush 7. Montale Arabians Tonka 8. Dior Homme Instense 9. Azzaro the most wanted I still want more fragrances for winter. I feel most of these are a bit sweet, and I was looking for something that stands out. I work from home, so I dont need an office frag. Could you suggest a couple of long-lasting frags?

Ehh, if you take the pure parfum vs explorer i would take the pure parfum. The edt is too abrasive. Explorer doesnt perform on my skin, for some reason
