I saw originally you weren't to happy with this fragrance. Glad you warmed up to it. It is actually very good in its own right like you say and my wife goes crazy for this stuff and that's out of over 50 fragrances!

Yeah, whenever i go in depth with a fragrance for review, i usually start to appreciate it for what it is. It's a pretty good fragrance!

You can get a 200ml bottle of this for around £60 in the UK, which makes it really good value for money imo.

Yep I'm from the U.K and can confirm I have bought the 200ml.I bought 100mls twice before imo despite owing various niche scents, I think this had one of the best bergamont openings.Its objectively one of the best you can get as a freshie at that price point.

I have MB Explorer and Aventus Cologne. AC does have a little bit more going on. But when you put them side by side it’s hard to justify spending 4-5 the price of MB Explorer. Let your nose and bank account be the judge.

One thing I noticed with Explorer is if you spray onto your shirt it does not wash away ever 😅. All my shirts smell like Explorer

Yeah that Aventus dna will stay for ever on clothes, i realized this the hard way as well hah

I got 5 x100 ml bottles for $50 each from my local store. They all have the same batch 03N51N311 is it ok? I also noticed after a week the smell doesn't last long. On clothes I can smell it after 2-3 days, but on my skin I can't smell it after 1 hour. Maybe because of the heat, it is 33 celsius (99+ fahrenheit). I have Dior Sauvage Elixir and it is the beast of longevity.

Nice! I think I commented on this before about liking it for what it is rather than being an aventus clone. Glad you warmed up to it a bit! I’m starting to think it’s closer to aventus cologne than the original

Went to the fragrance store to try it on skin just after you posted this. It’s been 10 hours since I put less than a half spray on my hand, and I still get whifs of it. It is, indeed, “aventusy”, but to my nose veeery different from all those clones I had an opportunity to try (and was not a fan of). Like it a lot, might get a bottle at some point. P. S. I also tried Brioni EDP (loved that one), and find them pretty complementing, very nice.

in percentages, could you tell us how similar is this and armaf cdnim edt to aventus?

They are like 80%-85% and the CDNIM LE Parfum is 95% maybe

I need Help from any kind person that can.. I Love the Opening of Montblanc Explorer so much but not the dry down. Is there any other Perfume that has this Opening and continue like that to dry down or even dry down to something smoother ?

You would have to start looking at some of the clones for that. Also what do you not like about the dry down? That can help narrow this down

@@ChadSecrets I have tried most of clones like CDNI and Armaf Intense. All of them are harsh on dry down and honestly explorer was the smoothest. What I am looking for is a dry down like Givree, or Prada home or Prada Luna Rosa og or Imagination etch etch something aromatic and smooth. Can u tell me if.there is any perfume that dry down smells.like the opening of Explorer?

I literally just sampled this from macys few days ago. DEFINITELY CONSIDER BUYING. AFFORDABLE!

I'm with you, I think its fine on its own. I have Explorer and don't feel the need to pick up Aventus or any of the other clones. I think it's great, and I believe I bought my 100 ml for about $40 USD which is great for me!

Hey. I have Gutteridge Dal 1878 in my collection. It is a much lighter take (it is not a dupe) on Explorer or Aventus, but slightly with a more classic touch. Mild performance, no beast mode. Good quality. From Italy.😉 I also own Explorer. It's not bad, but I do not use a lot.

@@ChadSecrets I appreciate it, but will you feel the same when I say my 2nd empty is going to be cdnim edt in all it's lemony glory? Joking aside, here's an interesting observation... I have a decant of aventus and a hundo ml and, either both F or E and F respectively, neither has any smokiness, so to me, Explorer is in the dupe category more than inspired by or twist. I heard someone say it was like "modern Aventus" and I can jive with that. But if my first sniff was anything like the smoky clones, I'd say inspired by more than clone, and also I'd be salty at the changes in the scent over the years lol.

Would this be redundant if i own cdnim le?

Not if you want a fresher take. But having more than one Aventus DNA can be very redundant

My friend uses montblanc explorer, while i use club de nuit. They have some differences, but they are both so good in my opinion

If you want niche quality creed aventus… well it’s Creed themselves, Nishane Hacivat and loewe esencia eau de parfum. Also, Chad have you looked at any of Loewe’s fragrances?

I can agree with get CDNIM LE

I don't think ppl buy this looking for Creed Aventus dupe/clone. It's a great signature scent or dumb reach. Montblanc added their own twist to the DNA. I personally hate all the clones because they all smell synthetic with low quality raw material.
