Every bit of this sequence makes me smile. Being here was like being in Wall Market in the first game. Iconic. Gorgeous. Awesome. I'm so glad they brought the Gold Saucer to LIFE. It felt like a true paradise away from all the noise and fear that the FF7 world/landscape can project.

That whole dance sequence is just over the top fabulous. The girls all knowing the dance, Andrea trying to step up on Yuffie and failing, and Dio doing Dio things. Then Yuffie fainting. Also love the minigame from the original showing up.

I'm not sure which is funnier, Yuffie fainting or Tifa and Aerith just letting her drop. 🤣

I was really struck by the amazing facial animation the developers pulled off in this sequence in particular. Her face is just the essence of youthful exuberance.

Yuffie fainting is probably the best and girliest thing I have ever seen her down. The wears a dress and her love boys shows. Also her calling Red a good boy. Or a goob boi. The most 90's/00's straight girl thing to do ever. 3:30-3:40

Dio is Prime Game, the purest of Manflesh. But still, poor Andrea. He was probably watching thinking 'Cloud is mine.' As Tifa and Aerith watched thinking 'Cloud is mine.' While Sepiroth was watching thinking 'nah, he's definitely mine...'

This game looks like 80% of fun and minigames, like the cast is taking a long ass vacation for most of the game lol.

To be fair, this is really just FF7's take on amusement zones. There's places that have this stuff all over the world, some as permanent installations and some as not. The one thing we don't have on our planet are moogle machines to teleport you to different areas or holographics. But Las Vegas exists, Universal Studios exists, Disneyworld is all over the place, and so are many smaller, lesser known resorts.

1:40 a talking anthropomorphic cat, a 15 year old having a magical girl transformation, a hot slightly tomboyish girl, a pure onee-san, out of nowhere dance number and a buff man flexing.... this is the most japanese thing ever.

I must have replayed this part a dozen times for the damn song lol

Just few steps in, after the helicopter scene, take a good look at the fireworks in the background; there are so many in different orders that u could think they re real. You literally need some minutes before you see the same one appearing again in the same spot. Then if u aproach the couple and their daughter near the entrance you can hear mother and daughter singing Gold Saucer theme with their voice. If this is not love for the game……

And you can see Remake appreciaton is also raised alot in the last 2 months going up to 117 k which is spider man 2 lvl which sold like 10 kk. Do yourself the calculation what could be 29 k…… everybody just speculating because there was no announcement, but i think they will announce it once it reach 7 kk units because that is what his predecessor made so there s no point to announce 5 kk or whatever under 7 kk. And also Hamaguchi has high standards if u know about his metacritic target. They will just show it in big and make fun about everybody who was speculating wrong
