I usually play Aerith and Barret and their attack are so cute together. I really like when he holding her hand 1:35 shows how gentle he can be. And another of their attack are very funny hahah.

I love how much he cares. The other male (human) party members are aloof, cocky and avoid showing emotion to much (which is fine and makes them unique each their own). You can see this in the Vincent, Cid and Cloud GS date for example. But Barret isn't like that and openly cares. They really did good by him.

Can’t wait to see what they come up with with cid and Vincent on the team!

I want to see more synergy attacks between Zack and Cloud, Cloud and Sephiroth. Of course we'll be seeing some with Vincent and Cid among the other party members.

I think my one criticism for the synergy attacks is the fact that Aerith doesn't get to keep the sun glasses she puts on with her attack with Barret. Would've loved if they let her keep them on until the fight is over.

I'll re-buy the game on PC if someone makes a mod that does this.

Barret's got simultaneously the goofiest and most badass attacks, and that's beyond fitting.

Barret/Aerith and Nanaki/Aerith are my favorite combos. Their synergy attacks are soo cute.

Sad this is the only way to view them all. Cait gets nixed so seeing all of his Folio. Using Synergy attacks are really just safety manuevers in Hard mode more than they're actually useful. Beside the last thing you want to do is watch them instead of switching to your tertiary character to build ATB and assist in piling on DPS I didn't realize Halcyon Descent was so cute.

This games usage of hit stop and hit slow is breathtaking kinda like how ffxv handles slow mo’s

They are literally all great.

Synergy attacks are one of the good addition to this game! I enjoyed all of the tag team moves. Aerith is my favorite parter to use for a lot of them. Humorous too.

This could have used a bit more of editing. It's hard to see which one was which without slowing the video down, it would have been benefited from having subtitles/title cards.

I died and went to heaven the first time I saw Sweet and Sour Salvo in game.

Just action alone I love it even more than Remake.

I'm kinda wishing there would be a 3-man synergy combo, but it turns out only 2-man synergy combo. These 2-man synergy combo is also cool 🤧🤧

I'm sure they could but those refocus abilities are for different purposes and sometimes you just need more atb charges. Maybe they could've done it differently where they're not a part of the skill tree

Don`t like it don`t use it. It is just to get ATB if you prefer to use that in your situation. I never use them, even if it could be good, cus synergy attacks are just more fun.

Well its important, Barret benefits directly from having 3 ATB, and Yuffie has an ability that requires 3 ATB.

@mappybc6097 That's true.. I fixed mine, tho to be smoothless and studder-free. Having certain mods and following the studder free guide(s) on Steam. There are plenty of ways to work around it But i do agree,if not, the fans will fix it

You just need to spend the atb gauge to increase the synergy gauge

Specific ATB commands will proc it, check the icons to the left of the command description. Most weapon skills will do it.

You have to use atb weapon skills to get synergy gauge and when you get enough you can do one I believe synergy skills also build it up too. I love that as it encourages you to use everyone in your party more so than remake

Hopes for the third part: they obiously add the synergy attacks for Cid and Vincent.... AND maybe and just maybe they put sinergy TRIO atacks... ;S (opinions?)

Increases the ATB bar from 2 to 3 segments, allowing for more spamming of abilities, more powerful abilities, or simply combing abilities back to back that aren't normally possible. It was much more underwhelming in remake, so I'm glad they improved it here

He's not a party member. Even though he "joins" every dungeon afterwards Vincent constantly keeps running off to do his own thing. They're holding out on him for the next game along with Cid. Or more likely, he's going to have his own DLC sidestory like Yuffie did in part one set in the parts where he keeps running off.

idk about these i dont really like the way those are animated and also the scenery and choreography seems pretty chaotic and not dynamic enough. I prefer the good old full fleshed animated ultimate attacks you had in most JRPGs. Just give em some impactful dynamic animations, modern rpgs are shifting so much away from the good old animated attacks thinking they can now just do everything in action rpg format it just doesnt have the same feel or impact to it. I much rather prefer Theurgy attacks from Persona 3 Reload or Showtime attacks in Persona 5 royal.

i dont even know whats going on. so many effects and particles. way too much

They made FFVII to be like Kingdom Heart. Prefer old turn base style.

That train is long gone lil bro. Ever since ff11. The OG still exists and with mods, it's awesome. There's a fully voice acted mod too with decent VAs that even sound like the official ones
