I don’t understand the casual nonchalant attitude and the 'they were punished' sentiment surrounding the reinstatement of Quenneville and Bowman. They both actively participated in protecting an abuser. The Stanley Cup seemed much more important to them than investigating a predator on their staff. For 10 years, they hid and buried the victims' stories for their own personal gain. Why is two years enough? They should be banned for life, but at minimum, it should be 10 years, equal to the time they protected Aldrich. The decisions they made for the Blackhawks as an organization allowed Aldrich to continue in his career and find more victims. Why should we be handing out second chances? If they've learned their lesson, that's fantastic, but working in the NHL is a privilege. They didn't make rookie mistakes; they held positions of power and used it to effectively silence young players. I recently watched interviews with Rick Westhead after the news broke on July 1st. It's easy to forget the details that make this story so egregious. There's no justification or excuse for Bowman and Quenneville to be reinstated, but why should I expect the NHL to act with integrity?

Signed a back up Goalie for last years injury prone back up and resigned a young D man that no one has any confidence in. Lost Bertuzzi and replaced him with no one. Worst off season in recent years and that's bad considering they signed reeves to 3 years last year. How can any of you be leaf fans and still smile???? You should be livid at your management team.
