Coming from a guys who’s sold solar for over 4 years. Only thing I’d recommend is setting the correct intentions. You don’t want to come by just to drop off a report. You’ll typically get porched this way. You want to come back and go over the proposal with him inside the house. So setting the correct intention here is critical.
@meebsgeeb
Жыл бұрын
100% correct. You don't want to come off as too pushy and pressure a customer, but you also need to be up front about the intention and expected outcome of the visit. Something like: "I can come back tomorrow at 5 pm to review the proposal with you. If the numbers make sense, we can go through the next steps together, if not, that's totally okay, and at least you will will be better informed"

You can’t send a rep out to that without any qualifying questions or making sure the spouse or significant other will be there as well. 90% of 1 legs have to talk to their spouse or cancel b/c they don’t know how to sell it to their partner. @@w140 Sure I'll try my best to answer but I'm not the most technically proficient so bear with me but, they're not cut off completely there's a rule where you'll always have to be connected to the grid, at least in California. For this family they have enough solar panels to offset 132%. So 100% of the power they normally use plus an extra 32% where if they don't use that it gets sold back and they get credits for it. Hopefully that answers the power output question. The full price is around just at 40k at 30 yrs 2.99%.

@meebsgeeb

Great if you’re the one going back and only offer a lease. Otherwise all you have is a first name and maybe his avg bill. You can’t send a rep out to that without any qualifying questions or making sure the spouse or significant other will be there as well. 90% of 1 legs have to talk to their spouse or cancel b/c they don’t know how to sell it to their partner. If you’re lucky, they’ll let you come back and “cancel the agreement” but then you’re making multiple trips to re-earn their business when you should be sitting with another opportunity.
