saying you're not there to generate interest is just as much of a lie as saying you're not there to sell anything. If you're a d2d setting solar appointments you're actually there to generate interest and not sell anything. I could be seeing this wrong I'm brand new to this. Thanks for the content
Currently knocking while listening and kid you not I gave this a shot soon they open door and said not interested they ended staying to hear my pitch but didn’t get bill which is okay it is a numbers game just gonna keep positive attitude and move on next home

How do you move past someone who says, 'I'm selling my home in a few months'?
I will say the "Im not selling anything" has helped me in field and ive gotten plenty of deals with that one liner. I actually got the one liner from Taylor Mccarthy whos an absolute bull on the doors so i feel like its good when needed but not on every door we are met with "NOT INTERESTED".

@@SignedWithJohnny The idea is to get them comfortable with the idea that they aren’t being sold. In reality they aren’t being sold rather then being given information they can read and learn about and later make a decision into buying what we are selling. So no, technically we’re not selling them anything not straight away at least. Just informing them.

Im in a saturated market when i say i need to tell you whats going on.. thus the rate increase they say are you solar ? Not interested or my rates haven’t increased. Around 99% of the time. Many in my area havent faced large rate increases yet. Any advice?

Instead of all this effort with smokescreens, just put door hangers everywhere. That way the people who ARE interested will contact you. It’s very effective!

If a Door to Door salesman doesn't FO when I say I'm not interested and continues to do the hard sell, I find the company he is selling for and ring the manager of that company and tell them I WILL NEVER buy their product.

No, you are interested. The only reason why you wouldn't get this is because you don't have the right roof for it, you're a renter, don't have the money for it etc. There's no reason why you shouldn't get it. @@NeverGonaHappen

“I’m on a limited time” 4:26 worst argument. No person at their door cars about your time if you interrupted what they are doing. You haven’t earned their time of day or respect. I would leave this off or come up with something at appeals to reason.
He definitely didn't get that deal. Getting the bill is one thing closing is another
Guys Don't buy anything from door-to-door sales If I want something I will search for the proper company for it.

Yet the proper company could be right in front of you but you chose to ignore them. Often the problem can be that the salesperson is being pushy. I was taught not to be pushy. I’d rather help and show you the results than just simply say to sell. Rather answer and listen to all your comments and concerns you may have. Like normal human beings.
Go find people who WANT it instead of trying to convince those who don't

That’s what they are doing.. not everyone responds to ads online. Heck when is the last time you went through your whole social media feed and clicked on each add and bought something that interested you or something you where recently looking up? The difference is now there is a person tied to it so you have to be social.

It’s natural to have sales reluctance. I’ve had many customers with your initial resistance realize how silly they were being once they actually heard my message. Most people aren’t don’t have the courage to knock on your door without a very good reason. Maybe hear them out? Cheers!

Tired of those pesky door to door guys? I can fill you in by zoom. How much is your power bill typically? if your bill is too high then we can’t help you. If you have about 10-15 minutes i can show you how the process works
Get a Latin dictionary then be prepared to have your mind blown. People are walking around saying words they don’t even know what they really mean
You guys can spat anything you want out of your mouths, but the end goal is to sell solar panels. The 'I'm here to help you' is a bunch of crap. This is the reason I have cameras and don't answer the door.
