Any piece that causes one to post 'Entirely without interest' is one with which one has had to engage to determine one's lack of interest, therefore engendering several reasons for why the piece is in one's opinion 'quelconque', mediocre, 'false genius,' whatever.

There seems to be a growing interest in the man. An increasing number of his music's performances are being published and ensembles are more than often taking up the challenge to perform his music. Slowly but surely Vivier is emerging as a composer thanks to brilliant people such as Reinbert De leeuw and Thérèse Desjardins from the Fondation Vivier. Both passed away now but the baton has been passed onto the younger generation, making Claude Vivier even more notorious than before, right as it should be. And to put this in perspective, Franck Mousset, has been, still is and always will be totally unknown, in fact irrelevant throughout the entire whole wide world!

Je suis plutôt d'accord, j'ai écouté quelques autres pièces de Claude Vivier, je trouve ça très désagréable. Je suis sidéré d'apprendre que Ligeti le considérait comme "le compositeur le plus important de sa génération".
