I remember Claude very well! He once stood at our home in Mortsel (near Antwerp, Belgium). I met him at the Cistercienzer Monastery in Zundert, The Netherlands, during the early seventies. Great person who composed fascinating music!

Very interesting! How about doing a video about Karlheinz Stockhausen?

Absolutely! However, I've got so many requests already in the queue that, at the current rate of production, it'll be November. I hope to be able to go to twice a week at some point just to fulfill extant requests, but we'll see.

Nice uploads that you have. Still keep in track with the weekly vids you've uploaded. I wonder if you can do Toru Takemitsu & Imogen Holst...

I can certainly add them to the request queue, but said queue is so filled that I'll likely get to them some time in the summer.

Great videos. How about doing a video about Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis?

Definitely-but as I've mentioned to others who have recently submitted requests, it'll take a while due to the filled up queue.

Absolutely ... but I've gotten _so_ many requests that it's going to be probably November at the current production rate.

Colin McPhee would be another great Canadian composer for you to look at

I notice you don't play any clips of the music - good choice - as that would destroy all the sentiment you rehearsed.

Better yet how about playing a couple of bars of anything by stravinsky then playing a 2 minute run of vivier and let's see how that stacks up with your initial comment.

How he died reminds me of what happened to composer Mark Blitzstein who was killed in Martinique in a gay hate related crime.
