Starr Cullars is a singer-musician-bassist-songwriter-performer-actress, who had extensive musical training as a child. Starr was a featured member and bass player for George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic. She auditioned for and was pursued by Prince for years and his band. She is now a solo artist and an entrepreneur. She also has a great taste in music and films which she shares with ClassicKat. Starr discuss her career, stories on Prince and George Clinton, and other musical artists (Billie Holiday, Janet Jackson, Dorothy Dandridge, etc) and the entertainment industry with ClassicKat. We have a discussion on the price of fame, and what female artists especially have to go through in the industry. We even discuss me and Starr's mutual love of the film Auntie Mame. Glad you enjoyed! Actually I don't work for that particular station anymore. I do work for www.qskyradio.com/ and have a show every Friday night from 9pm-11pm PST, and play Starr Cullars' music from time to time. That station has a great range of independent, oldies, and retro artists still making great music, in addition to current music. I also play music for 3 hours on Sundays from 6pm-9pm PST on Sonic Radio Rocks at sonicradio.rocks/index.html My old station, I unfortunately was forced to leave because of the owner/my former friend, but hey he still plays good music. That station is modernretrofm.com
