I literally LOVE the methods you describe. I was watching your videos the whole summer and adapted your goal work idea for my middle school music class (I'm calling it Target Practice to stay consistent with "Learning Targets") and I'm so excited to roll it out for my grade 8s on Friday. Thanks for the inspiration :)

Hello Bridget! My allergies are acting up too here in Maryland: I always find starting up teaching in the beginning of the school year I get allergies starting up too! I find ZyrtexD ,sold over the counter, works best for my allergies and decongestion. The D for ZyrtexD is for the decongestion. Hope this helps you....Love your vlogs! Have a great school year!😃

We have a piece of corrugated plastic that is cut to the size of the window in our door. We place that in the window during our lockdown drills.

I clean my magnetic white board with a damp microfiber towel; it cleans much better than any spray I’ve used without any oily film.

How are you projecting your ipad charts onto your TV screen?

Good Morning Bridget, If I understand you correctly you create the Anchor Chart with the students directly on the iPad? Do you think at the Kindergarten level I could create the anchor chart with the students and then take a photo and then print them out to add to their folder in a sheet protector? For example the name chart we did with their names and counting syllables, I could take a photo of the anchor chart and add it to their writing folder so they can refer to is when they add their friends' names in their stories?

I don't wear shoes in the classroom either. I have carpets that I vacuum everyday and since my students see me with out shoes I let them go shoeless as well. They have to keep their shoes in their cubbies and out of the way but 90 percent of them love not having shoes on. They don't play with shoe laces, pick at their shoes, I have yet to have an issue of "the case of smelly feet." The class sees it as a reward and I love it.

Could you tell again what the P.R.I.D.E letters mean. I want to do something similar this year and I don't recall what each letter means? Thank you.

haha I love how you called your shoes your 'firks' - fake birks . For some strange reason my family and I replace the beginning of the word with the letter f too! At least we're not the only ones who do that :')
