I haven't gotten around to watching all that many films from this year but one I do like is The Body Snatcher with Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff starring against eachother. It's one I remember enjoying watching just to see those two. Loved this vid, gonna watch more and hope you keep doing this series!
Damn, listening to this podcast was like listening to the most ignorant, self-absorbed and blunted of tastes. They did nothing with the dad in 'A Tree Grows in Brooklyn' - he dies, it's based on a classic autobiographic novel! Were they to change the plot for a Hollywood schema. As for Dorian Gray, he didn't sell his soul but made an inadvertent wish which was granted. 'Mildred Pierce' is a woman's film with noir splash. Everyone has their own tastes but reading films so wrong-headedly takes the biscuit.
