Only after watching these videos did it finally click in my head that my Mossberg Maverick 88 most likely jammed once because I was running Winchester target loads through it.

Nice demo, and you gun handling was real smooth.

If you fire shells that come right out when you open the action, it's surprising how fast these Coach guns can be reloaded and fired making them pretty handy for SD. You can see why they were popular in the day.

The problem is all the self defense ammo I tested doesn't work.

@@DukeFrazierProductions I've not had problems with Federal Premium 00 Buck, which is what I've mainly used.

Winchester shotshells can cause hiccups in many shotguns. Today I use a lot of Estate and Remington , which function perfect in all my shotguns whether my O/U , autos, pumps and SXS .

The ones that don't drop out are probably steel and plated brass steel expands on fireing but doesn't shrink back like brass

Try some emery cloth on a dowell inside the chambers. It might sluck em up enough to release the shell better. Maybe

Once I've tried every brand I can get my hands on, I plan to do that. Of course by then it'll be so worn out I probably won't have to...

Yea, I saw that. Still trying to figure out a decent way with a long beard to not shoulder my beard with the gun... I feel your pain. Ever not notice and get recoil on the beard? I've done once or twice. Lol

I got one of these new in March this year. I shoot Winchester AA low noise low recoil for cowboy action shooting. I think the extractor is hanging up as it won't dump them out until I pull on one of the empties. Once I do that the other falls right out.

Just this morning I ran a box of Winchester AA Heavy Target loads and I didn't have a single problem. I will look and see if I can find a box of the low noise and recoil and test them as well.

Have ran low noise low recoil through mine with no issues at all. But then we all know, what's good for some, isn't for all.

There was a time Federal shotshells were the ones you bought when you had no choice. They were that bad.

There was a time I wouldn't buy anything from Federal. I remember buying a 500 round brick of Federal .22s, of the 500 I only had 150 or so that fired on the first hit. I think I threw away over half of the box because they wouldn't fire at all.
