Yep, you have to get into the right mind set in my opinion. This helps me at least to become a bit more inventive with modelling and detailing of a scene. Also adds to the play factor as we are all just big kids really playing trains. Cheers Graham 🍻 👍😊

Loved the video. I work in 0 gauge in the garden and also know what the cold is like. Too cold for me to venture outside at the moment, even though I live in Cornwall and we escape the worst of the bad weather. You asked if we had any ideas, well, one thing that was very apparent in the video is that the corridor connections 'don;t make', there are the visible gaps between them, easily if time consuming, rectified with sponge foam cut to shape and glued into the connections both sides with a card 'rubbing edge glued on. I, personally, do not use corridor stock on my layout due to coupling and uncoupling 3 link and screw couplings, which is nigh on impossible with corridor stock unless they are in fixed rakes. Loved the Christmas bit at the end. Regards, Paul in St. Blazey.

Might have been interesting to leave a bit of the track in place and grassed it over as a bit of disused track.

Nice video, thank you and Merry Christmas. as to the area that has become your dumping ground, why not come up with some ideas and put it out as a poll to your subscribers. I know you are a serious modeller, but an alternative could be a film set, castle, shopping area and so on.

Great video Graham, the layouts come on a ton, in the last few months and been so enjoyable to see it progress. I love the background story and little montage of the dayglo brigade busy at work, with the Xmas engineering works, as well as leaving the new ground work visible, to show its new. Nice little touches indeed. The story at the end was excellent too. Major plans of action for next year too. Even more to look forward to. Perhaps making the quarry wider, & moving the overhead loader to a new position linking it with a conveyor belt would be better on the eye! also the new point signal CA15 needs to be moved in front of the point blades as a loco could move up to the signal, thus failing the movement of the point blade. But clear up of the 2up with 2up housings above the tunnel? needs sorting! But over all a good vlog. 👍
