I never got off the hook from buying gifts just because I was hospitalized. The entire, massive lobby of the hospital was stuffed with vendors selling gifty stuff. My husband pushed me around in a wheelchair and I did some high speed shopping. By the time we headed back to my room twenty minutes later I was in a lot of pain and exhausted but every name on my shopping list was ticked off. I was so dang proud of myself. LOL

Gosh Claire were full of energy 😆😄☺️😊

I relate to Claire so much except I’m much older than at the age she passed. I have lupus and in the hospital now. I have also been here during the holidays. Claire was an amazing girl and woman. I’ve been watching her videos during my whole stay to help encourage me. I wish she was still with us.

I've been there.Nursing staff tried to sing Christmas songs then looked for my reaction...i coughed they felt encouraged to keep singing as i held the teddy bear the nurses gave me with this pained but funny grin on my face while wearing a oversized santa hat.

I still remember when I broke bones. My roommate scored and I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep. I started saying sorry to people for reasons I wasn't sure of yet. I just had a feeling that people wanted to kill me.

I wish I could be that upbeat and I have nothing to complain about...well I am legally blind sinc birth and now hearing impaired too in old age, but I'm really pretty healthy. Like she says, we are all dying, but at the moment it's not imminent for me so I have nothing to grouse about. I've had a good life. I just admire Claire so much. She was an amazing human.

I don't think she can see this because she's dead. Secondly, Claire filmed these for the world because she wanted to give people a different out look on how to look at people in the hospital. I don't think she'd want these vids to just sit on her laptop. She made them for the world. For the world to know that "hospital people" are just people. Her mother is honoring Claire by doing this.

She would want this, she filmed them and if you watched a eariler video that was posted by her mom about a week ago Clarie was working on making a movie before passing and they probably needed time to mourn, then go thru the footage before they could think to share it. Claire was a open book to help other sick people, and for others to understand she put hard work into these videos.
