She is so much younger than me and she has inspired me more in this speech than I've felt in my whole life. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and everyday I ask myself how I'm going to get through this. Why can't I be normal, and the I see her and I feel grateful for my life's problems. Claire has opened my eyes to a whole different view of life. Being human really is feeling pain and going through the waves of chaos. I truly wish I could've met this amazing beautiful soul, she is what the world needed and she was taken way too soon. I am so glad that KZread has her videos so that she can live on and spread her inspirational words for years to come long after she is gone. RIP Claire you truly are an angel.

She passed after her double lung transplant , of a stroke. Complications are always possible with such radical procedures. Did she stroke after a blood clot , or a bleed in her brain ? I wonder. Strokes come from either or also from lack of O2 going into the brain. So many things can go wrong.

I was one of those parents that spent all my time with my son who died of cystic fibrosis at 13 every thing she says is so true. My son was an amazing person like Claire, he acted so much older than his age and was not afraid to die. Like Claire and other children and young adults know so much more than we can ever imagine. She didn’t die on the ‘fast track’ - she *lived* her short life on it, achieving more than the vast majority of us do by age 21 - unless we’re rock stars; even then though she achieved more than most. The bigger tragedy, for me, is that she wouldn’t have died if she’d been born 10 years later. Imagine what she’d be doing now…… more of the same I think. I’m 52, I’m not terminally ill, I’m a father of 7 children who are all healthy, and I still can’t relate to much of what she’s saying - but I’m still inspired by her words, at the very least to treat sick children the same as any other; to remember they’re children who see most things in a very simplistic way, that doesn’t mean they’re like foreign adults though, who need speaking to slowly, and with exaggerated hand gestures. I’m still touched by her words; she had wisdom far beyond her years, and she died because of something more related to surgery itself back then, than the disease which was destined to kill her had she not opted to have the surgery - that’s cruel, and ironic; that’s the hardest part of her story to accept, and if there is a god, he’s a sociopathic sadist toying with his creation like he owns it. Who wants eternity with an egotist like that? “Worship me or burn in hell” - sounds more like my mother who expected eternal gratitude for bringing me into *her* world, without invitation or choice, just so she could spend 16 years telling me what an arsehole she’d married. If there’s a god, then why all the games with Satan whom he created? Bound for a thousand years, what a childish creator, a sociopathic, megalomaniacal, egotistical, selfish, manipulative, evil little shit of a father he’d be. To god goes the glory, and the rest is just the mysterious enigmatic man with the plan? My arse!

I came to know Claire through her you tube videos fairly recently. She truly is so amazing and has a beautiful take on life and the problems therein. At such a young age, she has these incredible pearls of wisdom for people of all circumstances. I have learned so much from this young women...more then I ever would have thought. She brought so much to the world as well as to all the people suffering from CF and other chronic, life threatening diseases, but the amazing thing about her is that everyone can take her advice and work harder to find that one thing that we're good at and share it with the world! I know many people besides myself who r really searching for that one thing that both makes us happy and can be used to help others too. I've never known what 'my' thing is exactly, but after watching Claire's zeal for life and her absolute thrill at finding her calling, I know now more then ever that I will find my thing and implement a way to give back to people in some form! Isn't that the best way to spend our time on this Earth? Claire showed me how to do that, and more importantly she showed me why to do that! I'll work hard to make u proud sweet girl. I wish I could have met you, but by continuing ur work, I know that our souls WILL meet. Your journey ended too soon, as u had so much more to teach us all. May u find the rest and breath that u so deserve. The world will miss u, beautiful girl! I will miss u, but thank you oh so much for the amazing message u leave in your absence. Love to ur family......love to all those whose lives u touched, for they are better for having know you. RIP! 💗
