Wrong. Christ comes from the Greek word Χρίστος, which means resurrected. It has nothing to do with the word “king.”

That was my exact thought as I heard Mr. Klavan say that. Christians should pray that if Ben does find the Lord that his family would follow. If not, we are to hold our Lord above everything else. So, Messianic Jews are not saved by your logic. God says in the OT, and Paul wanted to share the gospel with HIS people, the Jews. Peter, John, James Jesus's brothers, Barnabas all preached to the Jews. Yes, they still have to be saved by the blood of Christ, but GOD HAS NOT ABANDONED HIS PEOPLE just because they abandoned him. Caiaphas would be surprised to know he cannot speak for every Jew. I never said they would be in heaven just for being Jews. Yes, Christ in King and a remnant would be saved. Because we are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ the blood of God himself the only pure spotless blood that there is. Without that you will not go to heaven without his righteousness you will not go to heaven we only get to Heaven by the grace of almighty God. Because of his righteousness because we don't have any of our own. Christmas are as filthy rags! The best we can do is not good enough. We have to have God. Israel wandered around in the wilderness for 40 years because they refuse to trust God and follow him. We have to put our total faith and trust in him not in ourselves.

I was shocked when I heard Clavin say that it would damage Ben's relationship if he came to Christ, and that God already has him where he wants him. He must know that is not biblical. He know that is the opposite position the bible takes. In fact, my wife said "Change the channel. I can't listen to him kiss ass anymore!" I couldn't disagree with her. It was sad and upsetting to hear that.

Not for debate satisfaction. But for his actual understanding of Jesus? He sounds like a Pharisee from the Bible. Very dismissive of Jesus. Very! It doesn't even sound like he respects the man as a man. Forget being God. He just discounted what Jesus did and said he had come to lead a rebellion against the Romans! What? Jesus never said that. That's old school stuff right there. Misunderstandings that no Christian believes in. I know he's been is an Orthodox Jew. I respect that. But I expected him to reject Jesus on something much more solid than something so weak. I've only listed to him a hand full of times since then. I lost a huge amount of respect for the man. In this part of his life I don't believe he seeks the truth. Clavins defense of Shapiro really made me question him as well. I'm not a Matt Walsh fan. While I'm not Catholic, I respect and enjoy Michael Knowles. He is more centered on the Bible and it's teachings. Actually he helped me to dig more into my own faith. Or lack of it.

The Hebrew prophets say otherwise in that God one day works divorce Israel for faithlessness and go to a people who were not His people, only to return again later not for anything the Israelis merited, but the glory of His own name. This is what Paul's teachings in Romans 11 are referencing. Thus it's "a bit" incorrect to say without qualifications "God didn't abandon" without the details, as it can give a right or wrong impression based on what the heater knows rather than articulating clearly regardless.

As a MJ of 30+ years and someone who is ethnically Jewish but sees the fullness of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and the Jewish Messiah Jesus (Yeshua) being the Savior of all people and Who all the books of the Old Testament was pointing to. Non-believing Jews will not be in heaven as Yeshua said He is the Way, Truth, Life, and if they do not say and live for Him then they will not. Jews do not get a free pass into heaven just by being the Chosen People. Yes they are still His chosen. That is irrevocable. I do believe that they still have a distinct role in Gods plan for the nations just as the entire body of Christ/Messiah has its role in spreading the good news of God whether they are Jewish or not Jewish (to the Jew first then to the gentile). God longs for His people to come back to Him as He has said constantly throughout the Old Testament (read Isaiah or exodus or really any to see) and even Yeshua came initially for the lost sheep of the house of Israel (in specific passages and stages of His ministry) but He ultimately said that all must come to the Father through Him. John 3:16 is a passage where He is speaking in secret to Nicodemus, a religious Jew. But all that to say, I think what Andrew may have been saying is that Ben is placed in a specific place and when the time comes, hopefully the Lord will reveal Himself to Him, but I may be reading into lol

This usually happens at the time of death and clearly seen when the criminal that was crucified with Christ asked for forgiveness and Jesus said to him "today you will be with me in paradise" It is the hope we have for all the unsaved.

When you say that about the Jews, you're doing the same thing as Jeremiah Wright, Cynthia McKinney, Hebrew Israelites, Hamas...all people on the wrong side. They've misled you. Rom 11:26 says God will cause a future generation of Jews (maybe this one) to come to Christ and be saved. God has not abandoned His promises to Jacob.

There are political actors and trolls co-opting our religion and savior (i.e. saying "Christ is King") just to own the Jews, hence why ppl are saying it's "anti-Semitic". A true Christian wouldn't take the Lord's name in vain. I would say "Christ is King" to a Jew. Not to insult the Jew, but to simply state a fact and acknowledge my Savior. Matt and Michael are Roman Catholic, Klavan is nondenominational, but I have heard him say very universalist statements, and Jeremy hasn't shown very good fruit. What Candace said COULD be construed as anti-Semitic as some others have said it and meant it, but I don't know for sure.

He describes himself as Catholic without the Pope, and he also seems to be some type of universalist, and affirms his gay son is fine with God even in a same sex marriage, but doesn't want it normalized through society.

I've always liked Klavan but this take is a little eh. As for Shapiro, I've enjoyed him for a long time, but... Recent "events" have turned me away from him. Especially some suspect things he's said.

It's really hard to know a person's motive or heart, but the truth is that Jesus didn't make it easy peasy for impure motives when He said 'many will profess to me in that day, Lord Lord we did all kinds of things in your name, but i will profess to them, depart workers of iniquity, i don't know you! Just making a statement does not make you a Christian! It's a relationship born out of a new birth. Dead to sin, alive in Christ regardless of your families opinion!

@@RickMakelyI would prefer to consult with God’s word than some priest, and according to Scripture faith in Christ is all you need. Good works and fruits result from believing in Jesus’s atoning work on the cross. If any “priest” disagrees then they’re not worth the cloth they’re wearing.

@@andyjones9386 God DOES have EVERYTHING to do with who does or doesn't go to hell. God made it possible for us to not be punished for our sins by what Jesus did on the cross. Only those who put their faith in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection from the dead are forgiven and therefore inherit the Kingdom of God. I get the point you're making, that people earn their own way to hell via their sin, but the statement "God has nothing to do with who goes to hell." is inaccurate in a very important way.

This is why I am not religious. Too many of these religious people focus on how other people should live their lives. What you believe should only be a personal decision and should not be imposed on others. As long as their beliefs are not hurting others it's none of their business. How you treat people while they're living is more important and after we die does not matter. All the people in this video are doing the same thing by accusing the others of being wrong.

In Romans 2 (if you allowed for context) you would see that Paul is speaking to Jewish professors of faith in the context of calling out hypocrisy, saying that the "true Jew" of the stock of the Jews (a true person of praise, which is what Yehudi [Jew] means) is one who has been circumcised of heart and not of flesh. And then what do you do with Jeremiah 31:31-37, Ezekiel 37:15-28, and Romans 9-11 (specifically 9:1-5 and 11:20-29)? I mean, I know I may be a simple "professing" Christian who doesn't have the insight someone like yourself does, but please, enlighten me, who are these verses speaking in reference to? I'm waiting...

You missed Rom 11:26 where it is clear that God will cause them all to come to Christ in the future. He clearly says they will be saved (through Christ).

I cancelled my DW subscription when I heard Shapiro say he was only pro America as long as America props up Israel. I cancelled my respect for anyone at the DW when he shared his "hands up, dont nail" meme and the pursuant sweeping under the rug by his minions like Klavan.

I suspect the discomfort for the Jews with this phrase (in antiquity and more recently) has to do with John 19:19. "And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews." So, when non-Christians hear "Christ is king", I think they infer that "Christ is king of the Jews". I suspect this all to be a ruse to eventually censor Christianity; to protect the itching ears of hearers. Please, let us ALL be clear. *JESUS CHRIST IS KING OF KINGS!* Not only King over the Jews, but over ALL peoples and rulers of the Earth.

Well theres really nothing questionable about the events. Hitler killed 6 million Jews and 1-2 million other "undesirables". However Hitler was simply a distraction, mao killed nearly 300million. Stalin killed around 200 million. And the poison ideology we battle today came out of Russia not Germany.. Hitler was also a puppet on a string like Biden. Paul says the man of sin would appear in "the temple of God". If the Jews were to build a temple, it would NOT be God's temple. God's temple is the Church. THAT is what Paul was talking about: God's Church. Do ppl not study his epistles honestly?

This is a prophesy in Daniel that will be fulfilled as a future event, as spoken by Jesus in Matthew 24. Mike Winger did a sermon on this here on KZread that describes how the abomination will be placed into the temple, and that signifies that the end times are here. We know that it is the physical temple in Jerusalem because after it is placed, the Jews are to run for the hills. Sometime after that Jesus will come, but not until after that. Yet, we don't know the time or the hour it will happen.

One of the things is: there is so much naive acceptance of Free Masonry.
