@@crissoa People who don't come to Church and ask for advice are free to do as they damn well please. It doesn't matter if they quit sucking each other off and start feeding the homeless they still don't get to heaven. Let's focus on the people who call themselves Christians and work on them. Don't enter into another marriage is something everyone at church can work on. Even if a man is hitting his wife it's sin for others to enter into that marriage and say or do anything. If she wants to leave she can get a divorce and go to the police. But what's worse is when women cheat and tell the congregation that all the sudden the guys now been abusive forever. Like that's a lie because they don't want to look bad for cheating but if you ask me he has the right if you cheat on him to knock you around one time.

Church attenders may do as you said, they please, but a Born again believer isn't going to have the same facade as the pew warmer or chair warming agnostics do.. A Christian is going to be honest with their own struggles and will not do as they please anymore techguy.. Not without conviction by the Holy Spirit and the consequences of disobedience. Non believing sinners sin.. What did you expect a sinner to do techguy?

I met a woman who genuinely believed she's Christian. We'd chatted occasionally and she seemed to believe. Suddenly she referred to God as 'she'. So then I realised she didn't believe the Bible afterall.

They didn't quite do it ... The LGBTQ rainbow as 6 colors. 6 = his signification is attached to man, his weakness, to the bad deeds of the devil and the manifestation of the sin. If you have the chance to read : The return of the gods by Jonathan Cahn or to listening to a interview about his book, you will realize that it's from the goddess Ishtar ( She as others names to, usually she is the goddess of fertilization) even the 6 colors rainbow. God's rainbow is 7 colors, 7 = perfection.

Oh don't get me started with Queen James Version. It is BEYOND blasphemous! The writers clearly forgot Deuteronomy 4:2 "Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you." That was NIV. I read KJV, NKJV, NIV, and ESV.

Totally agree with your points Brandon. I see you also like to read several different translations of the Bible- have you tried the NASB? One of my discipleship trainers pointed me toward a new version they released in 2020, from what I've read of it, I think it's a faithful translation of the hebrew, if a little similar to the ESV. Didn't have much else to add, that just came to mind seeing all the different translations you use.

I am a KJV reader, but the NASB which Dr. Andy Woods uses is one I also compare with; I believe Justin Peters uses the ESV and those two gentleman I respect and so follow those versions. NIV is not even considered…too many omissions of Jesus names and in a couple places completely omits verses.

I’ll never forget this. There’s a Disney movie called “Out” I was watching it in the beginning of my walk with God and I asked him “Father, is this stuff bad? I can’t really tell. It seems so harmless. Are they really doing something bad?” For those who don’t know, the short named “Out” is about a gay couple coming out to his parents. I forgot about it a little later and when I was watching the next short, 3 very subtle words came out. Not audible but I knew it came from my soul and the words were “Workers of iniquity.” I was like “._. Where did that come from.” It spooked me because it was the first time that’s ever happened to me but I was very grateful that God saw me worthy to have my question answered. Only through Jesus can we really have these experiences and I’m so grateful for the way our One True God is... Love and not confusing at all. No doubt, God is not so happy with homosexuality and for sure didn’t change His mind when Jesus brought our new covenant through Him to God. I definitely can see that it disrupts the order of marriage for a man and a woman, and them becoming one flesh. (Edit: Now that I am older in the Lord. With more experience. I want to make something clear so nobody gets confused. Throughout the rest of the walk there are more “voices” that come up in different places. Everything should be tested with Gods Word. It’s our shield and our sword all at the same time. God uses Paul to explain it that way so we can really understand. That’s why Jesus always spoke in parables. Whenever you have this type of experience, please read the Bible and make sure. This has happened more than once to me, and it’s not always from God, and it’s also not always from the devil. Sometimes it’s just me, my human side. So, be careful who you listen to everyone. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light And our flesh is at enmity with God You are not fighting just sin. You are fighting the devil, the world, and yourself all at the same time. That is why the Bible tells you about the armour of God. It makes more sense when you be born again (John 3)

That’s very interesting you also had God answer you like that. I was reading Genesis 2 & 3 a while back and I was so confused because God told Adam and Eve they would die after eating the fruit, and they didn’t. I sat down and prayed to God, telling Him I knew he was truthful and did not lie, and that I knew he was always right and I had to have somehow misunderstood. At the end of my prayer, as I was saying “Amen”, words came to me. I did not hear them or see them, they just came to me in my mind I guess. “They died in spirit.” I was like, “Ohhh! That makes so much sense!” Adam and Eve were told they would die if they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and when they did eat from it, they died in spirit and were “born again” as sinners. Later that same day, I saw a TikTok and it made me look up Romans 5:12... which says “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” God is great! ☺️

While the King James Bible can be difficult to understand, it is definitely worth the effort. A lot of nuance is lost when you translate from one language to another. The King James Bible was a masterclass at maintaining a lot of that nuance (not all, but a lot). And while more simplified and modern versions can make the basic message easier to understand, there is a wealth of knowledge and nuance to be had by reading the King James version. And its a lot easier to learn how to understand weird english than it is to learn ancient hebrew and greek.

The original 1611 or the numerous revisions? If the 1611, then what about the Apocrypha? What's inspired? What isn't? They're sorely confused.

​@@factfiend1000 There are faults with it. It is a fact that Erasmus did not have the last 6 verses of Revelation in Greek. But he did have the Latin Vulgate. So he translated Latin to Greek, and put that as his Textus Receptus. Something else: The Old Testament contains Hebrew Acrostics. There are usually 22 lines of scripture matching the 22 characters of Hebrew, where the 1st verse begins with Aleph, 2nd verse begins with Beth, 3rd verse begins with Gimel and so on... Psalm 145 is a Hebrew acrostic. But go and look at KJV of Psalm 145. Only 21 verses. 1 verse is missing. And that is the one that begins with Nun (Hebrew N). That is because the KJV translators were working from a manuscript where it was missing. That verse is in the Septuagint and Dead Sea Scrolls. And most modern bibles insert it in the right place in square brackets. That verse is "The Lord is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works." There are other problems.

The complete list of Hebrew Acrostics is Psalm 25, 34, 37, 111, 112, 119, 145, Proverbs 31:10-31, Lamentations 1, 2, 3, 4 My ESV draws attention in the footnotes to all of the Hebrew Acrostics except Lamentations. I think that is a grave omission. It should have footnotes. A fault with the ESV. Oddly enough Lamentations 5 is 22 verses but it is not a Hebrew Acrostic. How weird is that?

This is soooo wrong on so many levels. I'm shocked someone even thought that this was a good idea. Absolute BLASPHEMY!!!!! The end is near my brothers and sisters.

Yep! Revelation 22:19 "and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in the book." and Deuteronomy 4:2 "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you."

This is totally crazy! I suppose the “ new translation” appease those with itching ears. Deuteronomy 4:2, “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” It would be best for these, “anonymous translators,” to remember this verse since they are held more accountable! Not at all, my roommate showed it to me about 8 years ago. I held it in my hand and couldn't believe it. He was what you would call a gay-christian by name. He was the music director over his church but loved this bible.

Actually if you look into the OLDEST Greek and Aramaic copies of Luke, that story was also in there . So maybe it wasn’t in John or Luke at first. But it was added for a reason. And most TRUE believers KNOW this verse may not be authentic and proceed cautiously . Point being, with or without this verse, it changes nothing about Christ and nothing about the nature of His Holy Word

I speak , read and write Biblical Hebrew and upon finding of the “ Isaiah Scroll “ in the Dead Sea Scrolls , it showed that the book of Isaiah was preserved at a rate of 99.7%. Leaving only spelling , and pre and subfix changes.. Somebody needs to reevaluate . Your studying old material it seems

I’ve seen a few videos from Mike Winger about questionable Bible translations including the Passion Translation and the Mirror Bible these are other heretical translations. I didn’t think it could get must worst but then about a year ago I found the Queen James Bible, which is even more heretical than find translations I listed above. The people who translated this Bible are stuck in Progressive “Christianity” the only way to get these people to repent is to actually talk to them about why they believe the things they do. If that doesn’t work we should simply pray for them.

@@kevinjobe2078 It’s so every “Christian” sect has its own translation. Every culture needs a Bible translated into their language. Translations like the NIV and many others aren’t anything to worry about. But, it is important to avoid translations like the ones I listed.

I am not trying to judge you, which that is God's job. But are you with the community that you put your involvement in, or are you with God? LGBT is not of God's way, and you can't be both Christian and LGBT, but you can change and separate yourself from the LGBT mindset and community. To be completed honest, I used to be attracted to other men at one point, it was disgusting, but I crushed it. And you're telling me that you can't change yourself. Thanks a lot for addressing the temple of Molech part. I saw in a news video once where there was a gay church and someone also brought up that argument that the Bible condemned homosexual worship of Molech but it wasn't against homosexuality itself. I was always curious because while I could see the logic in their argument, I never felt that it added up with the rest of the bible's verses on homosexuality. Hearing your counter to that argument with biblical reasoning and scripture really helped to put that whole debate to rest.
