    It is better to know The Source of Knowledge than to have a belief. That is the whole point of the Torah and what Logic would tell the true philosopher. Any idolator has beliefs, but an idolator doesn’t have true knowledge and a logically consistent theology. Logic (The One who makes x=x and who tells the wise mind that it will be what it will be) is The One True God who is not a false god like all the others. All other gods are not real, did not create the universe, do not give a mind true knowledge, and will not lead you properly or save you in any realistic way.

  • @logicalconceptofficial

    @logicalconceptofficial

    @@flatearthfreedom9873 The problem is that people form beliefs before they gain true knowledge through The Source of Knowledge. Hashem and Logic are arbitrary names for The Formless Yet Rational Substance that makes x=x and who makes the universe be the universe. They are also all too willing to defy Logic (The God of the Torah) to blindly believe every word of the Bible as truth when every word is not truth. Every word of scripture (or any writing) will lead you to the True God but only if you reason properly and honestly (reckon faithfully) and only if you properly parse good from evil and sense from nonsense. There is a big difference between that (logical reasoning) and blindly believing that every word and statement must be true.

    @@logicalconceptofficial yes you are correct. However Tovia has such tenderness and patience with people who have been taught . . wrong. . By the powers for 2,000 years. I am learning to be patient and kind. If you read what i wrote. I did not give credence to his beliefs but his attitude, honesty and his desire and openness to seek,. I think it's a major step for him to have Rabbi answer his questions. In time this Bryson will continue to study, hopefully learn Hebrew and discover that he and generations before him have been deliberately lied to and decieved I know the book and videos about Caesars Messiah explains how Rome created the whole thing, the whole religion because they could not conquer the Jews. These former Xtian gentiles have researched the history and politics of 1st century Rome. When someone reads the introduce to each gospel in their own Bible and realize that none of the writers or Paul ever even saw Jesus or knew anyone who had know him. So if Rabbi Singer can be patient with people finding their way out of darkness,. I can surely try.

    @@LassieSgr To be clear my comments were not meant to be critical of yours, I just felt like explaining my point of view and took advantage of you mentioning belief to explain the difference between belief and justified belief or true knowledge. That is a huge part of understanding the Torah in my opinion as it talks about gaining "knowledge of good and evil" and true knowledge that isnt mere false certainty. I understand why my comment probably seemed like I was somehow criticizing what you said, but really my target was the idea that abrahamic philosophy is about blind belief rather than Logic and substance. Cheers!

    Jews are very cool, intellectual, non-toxic people. The problem is they have a blindness and most just can't accept Jesus at the moment.. Many Testimonies of Jews accepting Jesus supernaturally like literally unexplainable, coincidences and supernatural external factors. It's just my basic view, even viewing antichrist's like Tovia Singer, his mannerisms and way of speaking is very likeable and kind. He is just a deceived Jew with an agenda. Jews on average are very kind where Gentiles usually not always, but usually have a barbaric aggression underneath. Jewish people are usually not bullies in their youth like toxic gentiles even my own Greek American cousins and people. Worse than animals, animals are innocent.

    Same here, godless heathen all the way. I enjoy these podcasts. I appreciate the Rabbi's knowledge of both old and new testament. But it still baffles me how he and countless others can see the major errors in what other people people believe like the new testament, and rightly so. Yet fails to see the major flaws in what they believe or the old testament. Or the Quran. When it comes to the creation myth in genesis it's painfully obvious its horribly wrong scientifically and historically. Yet when brought up he says there are things we don't know. In relation to how the earth was made. Not knowing isn't a good enough answer for me and many others. That's why we use science and history to come up with the best answers possible. And what is more likely and logical. And it's not written in stone. New evidence is always possible to change our knowledge.

    @brentkrohn3786 As far as science is concerned, contemporary science has very fragmented information, which in itself is questionable as well. That concerns our knowledge of ancient history as well - if we talk about the creation era et cetera. There are many physical evidance that completely abolish our historical narrative and put our science in a complete stupor because they make no sense with our present knowledge and perception at all. The Academia and the government are both engaged in a major effort to conceal from the public all of those archaeological discoveries and other evidence which temper with the official narratives currently taught and referenced/relied on. As for the Hebrew Bible and the book of Genesis in particular, it is one of the most enigmatic books in the Biblical opus if not the most enigmatic. Some texts in Prophets can also join that category - certain prophecies that are mentioned in the books. A lot of the information cannot and should not be taken at face value. Many of the descriptions are very allegorical. The point is you can't really use it in a blunt manner to argue with the science of today which in itself is very far from being flawless and is possibly mistaken on many fronts/levels. Which is why the Rabbis argue this correctly by saying that there are things we still don't know, and in order to have a valid argument you need all the information.

    @@tongakhan230 Yes, there is no “J” in Hebrew, the chosen language. You are reading from an English translation version, and in order for you understand whom we are referring to we use English in order to communicate. Joshua = Yehoshua Jeremiah = Yirmiyahu Jonah= Yonah Juda = Yehuda Furthermore, you cannot use a Greek manuscript (the “New” Testament in order to override TaNaKh (the Jewish Scriptures). And indeed all nations shall be gathered, but not until they are informed that God does not subscribe to a triune godhead, nor is the true Jewish Messiah Jesus, but instead David. Who informs the nations? Zephaniah 3:12-13 “I will leave in your midst a meek and humble people, and they shall trust in the name of YHVH. The remnant of Israel shall do no unrighteousness and speak no lies, nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; they shall feed their flocks and lie down, and no one shall make them afraid.” Isaiah 42:6-7 “I, YHVH, have called You in righteousness, and I will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the gentiles (nations), to open blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house.” Isaiah 49:6 Indeed He says, It is too small a thing that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the gentiles (nations), that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.” Zechariah 8:23 Thus says YHVH of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man and say, “Let us go with you, for we have heard God is with you.” Therefore Christian, today, in reality, all you are doing is delaying the process of the true Jewish Messiah David and his arrival. Hosea 3:4-5 “For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or teraphim. Afterward the children of Israel shall return to YHVH their God and David their king. They shall fear YHVH and His goodness in the latter days.” Ezekiel 37:24-25 “David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd (David); they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.” Where’s Jesus anywhere here? Did God have sudden amnesia and simply forget to mention Jesus and instead informs us several times that it will be David? Why do Christians only see what they want to see, and hear what they want to hear, nothing more? We know why. Because since you were a child someone ignorantly told you otherwise, based on a preconceived notion of an image of a naked bloodied dead man hanging from a tree at the age of 33, and because the Church capitalized on it, making a fortune along the process, by using replacement theology in order to justify their own ignorant claims. Christendom in a nutshell.

    @@tongakhan230 You really have no idea what you are talking about, do you. According to the Christian doctrine, Jesus was only born of a human mother, and lacked the human father in order for him to be a descendant of David and Solomon. The tribe of Judah and the Davidic lineage is a human ancestral lineage, the future messiah must be from the body (seed) of David and Solomon. A Jewish mother determines whether someone is Jewish or not, the father determines the tribal affiliation. Proof? 2 Samuel 7:12-16 “When your days are fulfilled and you lie with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and body, and I will establish his kingdom….” (see also 1 Chronicles 17:11-14; 2 Chronicles 7:17-18). All of these biblical texts and more clearly affirm the Davidic covenant and God has set aside the royal throne for the descendant of King David alone. These prophesies contained will be fulfilled in the future. The king-messiah will emerge from the Davidic dynasty to rule in the millennial kingdom (Jeremiah 23:5). Jeremiah 33:16 “In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. This is the name which she will be called: “YHVH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Ponder this: has Judah been saved? Does Jerusalem dwell safely? We already know the answers to these questions, Christian. Messiah has not come. Nor does a messiah have the ability to return in order to finish his job. A Messiah accomplishes his tasks on an initial visit. Your Jesus character is disqualified for being Messiah.

There are older more preserved dialects, but that doesnt change it's meaning just want to be clear). So most people say my hebrew sound arabic, and i am not suprised bc it is a Semitic language. Arabic is close to hebrew in ways, but ofc vastly different. I am a mizrachi jew (middle eastern) but my dialect isnt the modern israeli hebrew dialect it is more in like with baghdadi iraqi and tiberian hebrew. Which is more preserved. For instance there are no 3 "s" sounds like ashkenazi have. These consonants got assimilated.

    Amazing how Rabbi Singer says: you shouldn't need a Master degree in theology to understand scripture (paraphrasing sry). This is the same augment I used as a Christian. Somehow I realized Christianity is indefensible from this stance. Too much mystery, the Trinity both an obvious & extreme example. Even Jesus allegedly giving parable to the people while sharing inner meaning privately with his disciples. I can't give up on my belief in a creator, but hell is the emptiness one feels becoming disillusioned resulting from loss of faith. Peace be with you all.

    @@tongakhan230 , Micah does not prophesy Jesus. Jesus was, and is NOT, a ruler in Israel or anywhere else. Jesus doesn't rule the world. If you claim he will be the ruler, you are just making an unfalsifiable assertion, which is meanngless as a rational or reasonable argument. There is nothing in that passage and chapter to identify Jesus. Let's look at the context, given by the surrounding verses, to see if Jesus might somehow be implied: Micah 5:3 indicates that the ruler will re-unite the brothers or tribes of Israel (i.e. the ten lost tribes of Israel). But this never happened in Jesus’ time, nor did jesus show any interest in doing so. Verse 5 continues that the ruler will defeat the Asssyrians. But Assyria no longer existed at the time of jesus, and Jesus didn't defeat any foe. Instead he was led away to be executed. Where do we find that implied? Where is there any allusion to his resurrection from the dead or his healing ministry? IN SUMMARY, YOU HAVE NOTHING IN THE PASSAGE TO POINT TO JESUS, JUST ANOTHER SILLY, UNFALSIFIABLE ASSERTION FROM YOU AND YOUR WATCHTOWER PUBLICATIONS. 😆
