Understanding the gift of free will would nullify a lot of doctrines out there. We can choose to undo any sins we commit if we truly repent and ask for forgiveness from the one and only God, creator of heavens and earth. No intermediary, not during Adam's time, not now , or ever. Salvation form God himself and no one else. As human beings, we wouldn't want it any other way. Beautiful !!!

@coryb5532 The Christian's bibles are just very badly mistranslated and corrupted versions of the Torah/Tanach, The Real Word of G_d, with a whole lot changed including names, a whole lot added, and a whole lot taken out. Everything that G_d said not to do, Christianity did! No Hebrew/Jew was ever named Jesus, nor John, nor especially James. There is no letter J in the Hebrew alephbet nor does any of the Hebrew letters even make a J sound. Christianity adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what The One True Creator G_d actually said. Try actually reading the scriptures where G_d gave the Torah and the Commandments to Mosche and the Children/Nation of Israel on Mt. Sinai. G_d specifically told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never veer to the right nor left of the Torah/Tanach! Never! G_d also told them in no uncertain terms that neither they nor any of their descendents all through time are to Never accept anybody else's religion! Never! G_d warned us about Christianity thousands of years ago.

@coryb5532 Back in the 70s, when we were still forced to be Christians, I was a counselor for Billy Graham on his Crusades. I had to take extensive Christian Bible training for that. I know the Christian's buybulls every bit as well as you do, if not better! Even back then, they (the Christian leaders) told the truth that the Christian's bibles are mistranslated. They only showed us the differences between the ancient Greek Septuagint and the Christian's bibles, though. They are two different reads. Unfortunately, they never did get into the original Hebrew scriptures at all. I read the Torah/Tanach for myself. I have a Sapirstein edition. The Christian's so-called "old testament" is Not The Torah/Tanach! They are two totally different reads! Christianity and English keeps mistranslating so much and then they totally misunderstand what they mistranslated and corrupted. Christianity and Mainstream Academia doesn't teach the truth and the real history! They only teach you what they want you to know and think. We know the real history here. Christianity is not the group that they claim to be, Christianity is a Wolf in Sheep's clothing!

@@GigiGhiba-hq7br: You know ZERO about the ETERNAL Hebrew scriptures and have never learned from the Rabbis, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11. Your problem is, you don't know what you don't know! All you have are outright LIES taught to you by the "blind guides" who spew blasphemies to you from the pulpit every Sunday, and who have never learned even ONE word of the ETERNAL Hebrew given to Moses at Mt. Sinai. You've embarrassed yourself in public, by all the grandiose LIES you just spewed!! Btw, I WAS a born-again, baptized, Evangelical Baptist Christian, and then a 'Messianic' Christian for a total of 40+ YEARS, until I actually LISTENED to what the Rabbis had to say about the ETERNAL words given to us by God, at which time (20+ YEARS ago!) I could no longer remain in the blasphemous, pagan idolatry which you ferociously and foolishly cling to! There is absolutely NOTHING you can gaslight me with, since I already KNOW God's Truth, and so do MOST of us in this comment section! Your time would be better used if you went to a CHRISTIAN comment section and tried to convert some Atheists, because you won't make even ONE convert here - not ONE!! The "NT" is absolutely NOT scripture that was given to mankind by God, therefore it is totally useless for spiritual learning and growth! PLEASE learn from the Rabbis, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11. In the absence of the Temple, the Rabbis are our spiritual teachers. There is NO SUCH THING as an "OT" OR "NT", since NO FURTHER SCRIPTURES were given to mankind by God AFTER Mt. Sinai! God specifically told us that the words that He gave to us there, are *ETERNAL,* (i.e. STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document!) and that we are NOT to follow ANY OTHER TEACHING than what is in those Hebrew scriptures! "Christianity" (which blasphemously preaches AGAINST what God said to us at Mt. Sinai!) IS another teaching, therefore we are NOT to follow what it says - God's orders!

Rabbi Singer, this was so your style - low key, more information than your audience could absorb, and the right moment to correct the pastor ( having held it tight to the chest from the beginning. ) I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when the two of you talked prior to broadcast, as well as, later correspondence between you. The pastor had a couple of lightbulb moments. Maybe this will lead him to turn to our Hebrew Bible to study more.

We are His children, we are very special to him. We became partners in HaShem in Creation. Pity on those who give mankind the meaning of gods just because HaShem gave man the intelligence and freedom of choice to be a partaker for creation, men have become arrogant and rebellious without sense of humility and appreciation. Many have chosen to become atheist because of HaShem compassion and tolerance not realizing that ALL the Power belongs to Him and there's no other.

First let me say that I am a huge fan of Rabbi Tovia Singer. He has a lot of good things to say. I am grateful to G-d for having learned a lot from him. This program too had many good points, although some initial points should have been more open to further discussion and at least given the chance to be reconsidered. Rabbi Tovia began his first response, saying that as a Jew he is always learning from the scriptures and that he sees things every day that he had never thought of before. By carefully use this as a basis for all of us to develop more, he made a very important starting point for better understanding the Torah and Tanach. Please replay and listen carefully to what was said for under 1 minute, from 5:15 minutes into the program up to 6:00 minutes in the program, which is absolutely crucial for how to view the story of G-d as Creator and His “need” of a relationship to Man. I would like to announce an opposite view of the first five statements that Rabbi Tovia stated (since that is not written in stone), ie. the points about G-d's character, and that He supposedly has no "needs"? As a thought test, I suggest you replace the five arguments about how "G-d does not need us", and turn it around 180 degrees, just to quickly show yourself that G-d still can be "sovereign", by creating Adam and Eve (Chava) in perfection love, … because He actually did “need" them.

The pastor is a very nice person but doesn't get it like most people, the Torah and Tanakh isn't about mashiach that isn't the central theme, scripture is about each and every individual and the choices we make and when we make mistakes how do we go about to correct them, it's our relationship with G-d and bringing ourselves and the world to the ultimate state of consciousness, everything else is secondary.

U don't create something unless u have a purpose. God said it's not good for man to be alone. Maybe god was lonely and wanted companionship. I didn't asked to be born i hear kids saying today. Good point. We have many needs but maybe god had needs.

tovia is right about the Catholic perversion of Mary and others as intermediates-including priests. They get in the way. btw the father of Jesus was a Jewish Roman officer named Pantera. That does NOT detract from his message.

An Anabaptist is just someone who believes you have to be an adult and fully aware of what you're accepting in order for your baptism to count. They don't believe baptising babies and children count, basically.

Heaven and Hell is a simple concept... When light approaches a blackhole, time slows down. Your judgement at your time is done by you. A time, when you are not allowed to lie to yourself, stripped to a bare consciousness of the truth reality. If you are in shock at your behaviour - hell, or if you served the entity that afforded you such an intimate formation of energy, to give rise to such awareness of life, you will return to the feeling you had in your mothers womb!..bliss

@@bglus4588 Trinitarian Christians generally believe that Jesus is God incarnate, God the Son, and "true God and true man" (or both fully divine and fully human). But ther are uniterians does believe so. For me ibeliev that's Jesus is a great teacher inspired by God the father to do his will (will of God). God himself is Almighty God that doesn't need other beings to help him in managing the creation. Ibeliev that Jesus is a human righteous follower of God's commandment by walking in faith untile he becom in God's image in faith and righteousness.. Ameen

The Jews try to keep religions sane and grounded. They always have, if not intentionally. Old men in tribes want their tribe to continue after they're gone. The best stories do this. The ultimate, extreme claims (this is required) do it for the younger members of the tribe. It's been like this for 100 thousand years? Some personality created this huge universe from nothing, and yet it never had a beginning, knows everything, sees everything and will never die.
