Finally Unbelievable is trying to veer back to it's roots. There is more than Christians and Atheists/ Materialists in the world. When you truly get to know and love the diversity of humanity, you come to understand that a truly moral God would wish us to stop fighting over 'stories' about God...and start loving each other unconditionally. xoxo You're back on the right path Justin....now stay there please.

'a truly moral God'??? - An opinion masquerading as truth - where do you get your 'moral' value from? From people, from yourself? It seems like you're an advocate for the religion of Plato Bird. What gives you the authority. or anyone else for that matter, to say what is right or wrong? Is it like the 'Rabbi' in this clip who claims it's all down to each individual? Clearly a self-refuting argument if ever there was one. I appreciate the 'loving each other unconditionally message' but you only have that because of Jesus Christ and his one true church. Forgive me if I sound annoyed but can you blame me? Best regards, Adam

Where do I get my morals from? I am a conscious being who has empathy for others. So I make my decisions about what is moral based on my ability to reason and to seek love and unity....vs hate and disunity. It's not really that complicated Adam, or wouldn't be, if people actually used their free wisely. Step one, no one should choose to make false idols out of ancient books.

You make lots of assertions , naturally without a shred of evidence, that God has always been there, he loves everyone etc and this apparent "love" is despite watching on whilst millions of people will die from terrible diseases, famine, tsunamis, holocaust, genocide and the rape and murder of children and may I point out that as he is omnisicient thus knows in ADVANCE that the little 5 year old will be snatched from her distraught parents and then unthinkable things done to her. Now where was HER free will exactly ? The fact that this stuff happens daily cast doubt on a benevolent god existing and "any god that doesnt manifest in any detectable way is indistinguishable from one that doesnt exist" Again it is much more coherent as to me the real explanation of non existence, and furthermore means I don't have to do what you do, which is tap dance and try and explain away the inexplicable.

The rabbi could have phrased it better, and I'm going to try and phrase it better here: Of course accepting almost any faith is accepting that miracles happen. At least two resurrections happen in the Book of Kings (1 Kings 17:21-22, 2 Kings 4:32). The resurrection was never a requirement for the messiah, otherwise, those two random children from the Book of Kings would both be messiahs. Despite these passages, special weight is placed on the resurrection of Jesus in Christianity, as if it somehow overthrows Isaiah 2, and establishes a new criteria for being the messiah!

The Trinity is not explicitly mentioned in the Torah. The book of Torah contains the most detailed ethics of humanity. How could be possible that a book that clearly states the details of women's menstrual blood is not clear on an issue like monotheism, which is the most radical book on the planet. All the verses you use to justify the Trinity have double meanings and multiple interpretations can be taken from it. While the ideological principles must be proven with clear verses and without personal conclusions. I hope you remember God's promise to your fathers and don't lose your way. There is no greater sin than idolatry and polytheism, and those who die believing in polytheism will have no place in the next world.

I used to speak just like this rabbi. He says he’s happy as he is but the Jewish man who recognizes Yeshua has happiness exuding through his eyes and mouth and hair follicles. He’s joy filled with a direct relationship with Him. That is the difference. I used to be the same. Yeshua came to me when I was 16. It’s taken me until now at 47 to accept Him. Now I feel his presence every day. My happiness is Gods joy filled my heart through Jesus. I’m taking back my Jewish Jesus. I am not a Christian or Messianic Labels. I am a realized complete Jew with Jesus as the Messiah. I would never have believed any of this if He hadn’t revealed Himself to me. It took my Native American fiancé to show me in my own Jewish Bible this undeniable evidence that rabbis stopped sharing with their congratulations: Isiah:53. Shalom. Jesus is the Prince of Peace and gives peace to all who seek Him.

I was really unimpressed with this debate. Jonathan Romain was a very disingenuous guest. He came across as arrogant and angry, and even though he said many times that I'm happy to let you believe whatever you like, it was quite clear that he saw himself far above Michael Brown. Additionally he really sounded unitelligent - honestly I'm really surprised he's a rabbi. His comment about one verse in millions was bizarre, since you'd think a rabbi would be educated enough to know there are not millions of verses in scripture... He believes some very strange things for a rabbi...

R Tee Jesus' promise here is not that all who claim to be believers will be endowed with the power to raise the dead or transmute matter. Nor does Jesus mean to imply that future Christians would have widespread supernatural powers. The following verses include two crucial qualifiers: "asking" and "in My name," clearly indicating that God does not sign a blank check for miraculous power to anyone. In part, this prediction of "works" refers to the early days of the apostles, who were granted miraculous signs (Acts 3:1-6). The idea that anyone could do "greater" works than Jesus also helps explain the context. Scripture not only associates Jesus with miracles in the Gospels, it credits Him with creation itself (John 1:1-3). In terms of power, it's logically impossible to suggest anyone could do something beyond what Jesus accomplished. The meaning, therefore, ought to be taken in some other way. The area where Christians can exceed what Jesus did is not "quality," but "quantity." His earthly ministry lasted only about three years-as He says here, He is soon to end this phase of God's plan. Jesus preached without modern communications, or modern travel technology. In contrast, modern evangelists can spend decades preaching to hundreds of thousands of people. Missionaries can serve the furthest reaches of the globe. As of this writing, this website is accessed by more people every week than lived in Jerusalem during Jesus' era. In a year, some bible-related websites speak to more people than populated the Roman Empire in the first century. Does this answer your question? Now can you come to Christ and accept him as your lord and savior. 🙏🏾
