I am from Australia and can tell you, it's ridiculous how far reaching this bloke is. He is a phenomenon.

His songwriting is on another level. You should react to “Daddy Doesn’t Pray Anymore”. He was impatiently waiting for his wife to get ready, so she told him to go write a song. He wrote it in the 15 minutes it took her to get ready. He played it for her and she had to pick up her chin from the floor. And if you want to get a concert experience, he did an eight song set at Farm Aid. At the beginning of Tennessee Whiskey, he introduces the band in song. Very cool.

This whole Tiny Desk Concert with him is amaaazzzzinng. The way he delivers the lyrics, with so much emotion in every single syllable a person can just get lost in their head and let the music transport them. That's why you won't find a song of his you don't like, lol. And the sound of the rain was absolutely in line with this song. That was perfect.

I learned to play this song a few weeks ago. One of my favorites. Sometimes Less=More.

He is just awesome, sings with so much emotion. I could listen to Chris all night.

I want to see Chris Stapleton live also... I think it would be incredible... Even if I have to go alone I want to see him & his wife perform live... Talk about having cold chills... Chris Stapleton can makes me breakout in goosebumps, get cold chills, make me cry... All my emotions just flustered... The voice, incredible... Chris Stapleton is on tour too... Back in october i had 2 tickets that i paid over $200 for at the beginning of the year and was looking forward to this show the whole time. The Day came and My wife couldnt go...so i called like 8 of my friends and 2 of my cousins and nobody would go with me...even for free tix...so i went alone....and i stayed for every note....that's my guy right there he's the preacher and music is my religion

Chris has been blessed with the gift of song writing, singing and ability to play an instrument!!!!

He fits in everywhere. He just recently joined Pink for a song called Love me anyway.

Just saw him live last night @AmFamAmphitheatre. He opened the show with this, just him and his guitar. And though the place was packed, you could hear every syllable sung and every lick of the guitar. It was amazing!

On the same level as “Whiskey and You” is “without your Love” by Chris Stapleton. You got hear it!!!!!!

Tiny Desk Concerts are filmed at NPR radio station in DC in someone's office. Morgane was with him that day and she sang on the other 2 songs. I can't remember which songs at the moment. Another fantastic Tiny Desk Concert was Tedeschi Trucks Band.

This is such a great song, i am suprised this one doesnt have a lot more views. So good. Chris is just so good. Just came from Fire Away man starting to get a bit maudlin from that to this....wow.

You know he sings so many genres of music and they put the label of country music on him and to be honest this song is more country than some of his songs but he can sing whatever he wants and it always sounds amazing😊😊😊😊 I am a Canadian and honestly I had goosebumps and was almost crying when he sang the national anthem at the last Super Bowl😊😊😊

This happens to be another one of my top favorites of his. I sing, so I go to karaoke and I’m telling you I just love his music. The man is genius when it comes to his song writing abilities. Then his ability to play the instruments and then freaking genius when it comes to his voice. Man… Priceless!

Great reaction, and love your comments...but FINALLY someone who lets the song play enough to get the vibe and not stopping every 15 seconds. Even a couple of times is ok, but wow how you let it play so the vibe kept marinating, then threw your thoughts on the screen. I had not seen this live version of "Whiskey...", and everything about it as it went along was making it my favorite...ESPECIALLY his slow tempo, the CMA performance of this I thought was astonishing, just him and his guitar and the stage under spotlight, but the tempo was just slightly increased I now realize later on, even compared to the album recording...but I always look for Chris to send it w/the last "driving me insane", and he held back on this one, the only one I've heard where he pulled that back, just curious, he always sends it at the end. Prob b/c this sounds like a small intimate setting by the applause at the end. Still epic, the slowest tempo I've heard live=the best live one, and his voice and delivery, epic!

I love watching your reactions, you just enjoy the music so much! I love CS and yeah, his lyrics paired with his soulful, mournful tone puts him in a category all his own. Look up Miranda Lambert, who also rights a lot of her own songs. Listen to Vice, it’s amazing and I think you will appreciate the lyrics too.
