By far one of my favorite songs! Chris is one of a kind. He has so many good songs. They always make you tear up😢😢

You really can't help but listen to Chris and not just hear him. He truly has a gift that inspires people. Also love your show!

Chris Stapleton is a very talented song writer and singer. This is a song where you can see several meanings to the song.

Thanks for doing these tiny desk reactions. The reason I was one of the people that suggested these is because of the audio quality and intimate setting. There are a lot of talented artists who have done these concerts and it gives you an added appreciation of their music.

So glad you did this. They are perfect for the small venue setting. Tedeschi Trucks Band also does a tiny concert at Tiny Desk that you should/must see. Derek Trucks was part of Allman Brothers Band and is a top notch guitarist, his wife Susan Tedeschi is a great blues/jazz/rock singer, the band is awesome.

The best version of this song I’ve heard is the 2016 CMA Awards artist of the year. Give it a watch, they do a little interview with him first that you can forward if you want, but the performance is amazing !!

I got to see him live and he sang this and it was beautiful

Jason Isbell, Elephant. Or anything of his. He's the real deal. Considered by most as the best songwriter of this generation.

I know this was recorded almost a year ago, but just came across it. I've was a paramedic/firefighter for almost 25yrs, and I know the look of trauma in someones eyes far to well, and you guys had that look for most of the song. Not sure what inner demons you're facing or have faced in the past, and I don't wanna know, just do me a favor and talk to someone about it if you haven't yet.
