More like a western fusion way of Chinese cooking, that’s ok. Give and take that’s how we evolve cooking. But, personally. I still like the authentic style. Could anybody please help me with the recipe for Ching's Chicken Burger with Shao Hsing cooking wine. I have lost the recipe. It used to be on KZread but I cannot find it now. Thank you if you can help.

Nice. Chef's Tip: Add liquids (here wine) after frying. These green peppers will steam, not fry.

Real chefs make their own black bean sauce
She is a famous chef, this dish is delicious but I am not so sure about her cooking technique can be better really.
how spicy is this? for kids anyway to sub jalapeno and half a thai chili?

Do you put alcohol in all your food
Best way to prep the beef - Slice, then add some dark soy, water, MSG, bicarbonate of soda, garlic powder, potato starch, and salt. Then once all covered, make sure you portion it and freeze it. Freezing it tenderizes it. That before cooking in the wok of course. For the soy sauce, make sure you use a reputable brand - Pearl River, or Lee Kum Kee. None of that Amoy or Blue Dragon nonsense. Also, make sure you buy as much as possible from a chinese supermarket. Never trust 'Chinese' food ingredients from a white supermarket. It's always toned-down, or has things removed.
Common guys it's a cooking channel and not a beauty channel! She's doing a video for those who wants to learn something new and if you don't like the way she looks then don't watch it!

I don't know, I prefer the videos with one single shot overhead and just the steps laid out quickly, not a lot of talking.

Grew up in Taiwan, but is from England. Martin Yan is from mainland China, but he's well-known all over. Ming Tsai is American, and isn't that well-known.
Holy trinity in Chinese cooking is Garlic, ginger and scallion, not chili
You lost me with the pre-made sauce. Shame on you. Not Chinese at all. :(

She is teaching to a world audience. Some fresh ingredients are not always available. Canned or bottled would be your second choice. I don’t expect you to make Ketchup from fresh tomatoes, vinegar, sugar and salt? I live next to a large Asian market but prefer bottled black bean sauce for it’s convenience.

Not only that, *some* fresh sauces are time-consuming and require a TON of ingredients. There are fresh sauces that require only a handful, but this one requires a lot.
