Aww! Sweet blessing to you Linda! Yes we are surviving this cold weather! It was 2 degrees here last week, it’s rare when it’s that cold and tractors don’t wanna start up!

Yes, we are doing well! Howard was a little too cold last week but we are hitting high 40's now during the day! So he is happier! Take care!

Hi LeAnn! I used to make a big pot of chili and the next day I would make a chili cheese cornbread casserole and it was a favorite of my kids, so good. I hope Howard has a better day tomorrow, we all have days like that. I have never tried chili salad, but I will now. Yum, chili mac&cheese is delicious too. My favorite leftover use is freezing chili on top of cooked rice in about 2 cup container. Perfect for a one person meal later. But, the cornmeal & chili & cheese looked fantastic. Stay safe.

The Chili Cornbread is a dish that I don't wait for leftovers to make. I have been making it for years, and make my chili in my favorite skillet then pour the cornbread batter over the chili and bake -- I usually add my cheese on top of the cornbread after it has browned slightly -- then allow the cheese to melt then remove from the over and serve in the same way that you demonstrated. I am going to try your Chili-Mac -- I had never thought to try making it in a casserole as you demonstrated -- Thank You!

So good!

I like using it for “Cincinnati chili”. Chili on top of spaghetti noodles, put some cheddar cheese on top and maybe a bit of raw diced onion. Yum! (It’s a riff on Skyline chili, but slightly different chili recipe)

These all look so delicious but I'd be the only one here eating them, sadly. The only way Hubby likes chili repurposed is to make chili dogs. I did get him to eat it in a baked potato once but he wasn't a fan. If my parents were still alive I'd make all of these for them and they'd gobble them up. I don't think I have ever had a chili dog in my life!

Can't say that I always have chili on hand in the winter. I am a year round soup/chili person. I am in Georgia. If I want it, I make it. This was a little passive aggressive against Howard tbh.
