Kent Rollins I love to watch all you videos especially anything on the subject of cast iron. I bought my first 14" dutch oven because you inspired me. I love my cast iron collection so much. Also, Kent, you inspire me to want to be a better person and live my life with more meaning. we tend to take life for granted but now my life has more meaning, I also couldn't do anything with out Jesus Christ in my life. Thank You Kent. God Bless you and yours. your friend, Elida Garza from Arizona.

Kent, I am a trained and long time chef...but let's face it...we are cooks, one and all if we have the passion for creating great food. And you sir do the profession proud. Your food is what we all strive to make. Good food, kindness and great hospitality. A guaranteed formula for happy guests or customers at the table. I know your grandma and momma are proud and smiling down on you. Thanks for your videos and dedication to the great cowboy heritage!

Amen! Food that is made from the heart is the most tasty. My ex wife said my cooking was very intimidating. I never used a recipe. I learned from my grandma and her 7 sisters on a wood stove in the kitchen. I went to school for Auto Body and graduated and worked for Bergstrom‘s. Two days later I was in the office with the owner. I was offered a security job for double the money to be security at one of his hotels. I learned so much about spices that went with different meats. Oh the head chef would call me or leave a note on how to start different meals. I was leaving my security job and the chef asked my boss if I would help out with breakfast. Yes I stayed and I guess I did a awesome job because they asked me back several times.

My Grandfather came from a farming family in Nebraska. He moved to Chicago after WW2. I have amazing memories of him making me dinners on the weekends. One I remember the most was when he would fry these little steaks them make a gravy in the pan to dip bread in. I remember never wanting to taste it. Then one day it did. It was amazing. He passed away in 2002. I wish I can eat with him one more time

Bought the cook book, I’ve gotten to love old school cooking with cast irons and cowboy coffee, I used your batter recipe from the book using butter milk and eggs because local store doesn’t have powdered eggs, had local butcher slice ribeyes thin tenderized twice, was the best chicken fries I’ve ever had and I usually don’t care for my own cooking, Kent is a master at cooking the cook book was money well spent! Cowboy coffee is a wkend tradition at our house on wkends now
