It really is simply amazing that that sound carries over so well into a power plant this small. This would definitely be cool to own.

I think that I would choose a Tonka Jeep. They are made out of steel. Barbie jeeps are made out of the same material as her boobs.

There´s a lot of mini V-8 running on a bench on youtube, but I would like to hear one of them in a radio controlled car whit proper scale and weight so you can hear the engine under proper workload. Imagine a nice looking scale model of Christine whit that engine.

sounds like a mini top fuel dragster :) - be nice to go distributorless and feed plugs from directly below under the base to show off its simplicity? - I would be tempted to delete fan and radiator and pump feed water from under base too and add a mini responsive analogue rev counter - I understand why the distributor and radiator have been retained, to better demonstrate a copy of full size...its just I love simplicity - modern cars / engine bays are truly awful compared to pre 70s cars - take a look in a Triumph Stag engine bay as late as near 1980 to see V8 simplicity and hear pure V8 sound :)

seems to be a bit of a wobble on that back shaft unless its just because of the lighting.

To bad you didn’t keep the rpm’s up for a little bit so we can hear it at a higher rpm for a couple of seconds. Was just idling with very quick rev’s.

I am in the UK and would like to build a little V8. I have a Bridgeport mill with a 42 inch table and a good sized lathe. I want it to be about 125cc so I am looking for plans with or without castings for a design that is not a replica of a full sized engine but designed to be practical at the small scale. Pump gas with spark ignition is essential as I want to install it in a robust bicycle and ride it on the road. Any ideas any one?

125cc is going to be chunkier than this, and would likely require a proper motorbike chassis.

its interesting how all v8 models sound amazing and realistic. not even high pitched. but any other like straight 4 or whatever just never sound good. exept for the caterpillar engine.
