CHEFCHAOUEN - Morocco's BEAUTIFUL Blue City - Travel Vlog

In this video I'll show you the real Chefchaouen. The Blue City as it's known has been firmly on the tourist trail for a long time, and for good reason!
I'll show you all around, taking in sights such as Plaza Uta el Hamman, Place El Haouta, the kasbah, the Grand Mosque of Chefchaouen, the view points over the city and the Spanish mosque with its incredible sun set views to finish the day.

I've never seen such views. I knew exactly what you meant when you said it looks unreal. Crazy to think towns like these still exist in these modern times. Let's hope tourists and modern architecture don't ruin this ancient-looking town. Beautiful!

Exactly. I saw a sign of negative change with an area being converted into a big new car park just outside of the old city. Everything changes over time, and I actually recorded a segment on that subject but chose not to include it in the final cut.

Great 🙂👍 Morocco is safe just make your back bag on your chest in the crowded souks. Second thing barging, haggling is the national sport in Morocco so try to negotiate every price in the old souks without shame. Also you can see some beggars 70 % of them are pro they can earn more than a bank manager per month. but if you feel tired hot or you look for some chillout go to the city of the wind Essaouira city or Assillah city or Warzazet city. It's so easy to rent a car too like 40 dollars a day. for information the nord of Morocco is a little cold in janury. In general Morocco is good for travel, rich of culture and safe. Life is not easier like in europe but he do the best of he can, the most civilised city in Morocco for now is Tanger city. Good trip just enjoy every moment 🙂. About tips : sneaks charmer and dancers : 2 dollars. Henee tatoe : 5 to 7 dollars. camel ride in beach : like 6 dollars ....

I didn't get to Essaouira myself so never saw that side. The only price that was a bit rough was the foreigner price to enter the kasbah. So really I spent very little there, it just depends how you travel I guess.

Résidence Hoteliére Chez Aziz. It’s an awesome place, but I must warn you the early morning call to prayer from the mosque nearby is loud and long

Résidence Hoteliére Chez Aziz. It was a beautiful place and handy location, I recommend it. You do get woken by the nearby mosque in the early hours, but it's worth it for a couple of nights

I’ll take that as a positive! I would have like d it to be a bit longer but I’ll only use the content I’m happy with and not pad my videos out.
