Checking 2nd and 3rd axis on a bow sight

Using a brite site and a carpenter's level, I go over how to check and adjust your sight so you are prepared for any shot opportunity you will be presented with.

Down and dirty carpenter level style will suffice for most bow hunters, but the brite site helps you split hairs. Which in let’s say a longer shot on an elk, could mean the difference between vitals or entrails. Good vid bro. Edge of the table works better than a box ;)

Have you check to see if the leveled sight changes at when your at full draw after using this jig?

Since I made this video I have also purchased the Gen 2 hamskea level and double checked it. I did not have any difference between the two, however it definitely can happen with shooters cresting to much torque at full draw

@@calibowhunter1998 Did check the actual accuracy of glued levels on brite site jig because I did read that some people had issues of inaccurately glued in bulb levels.

@@CYOTsNiper I did also have that issue. I took them off then reglued them in. I was checking a sight and noticed the levels were waaaaaaay off checked the britesite and the levels worked loose. So yea that can be an issue if not checked

When you put that bar on with the center knob…. How do you know that bar is EXACTLY 90 degrees??? If you just eyeball it then it could be off and that throws everything off

Of course anything man made can have any issues. You could check it with a bubble as well. Or a carpenter square

@tonyviers-de9qi it had the 2 10-32 bolts to mount like it does to your bow riser. And than its a matchen aluminum block to that knob. It has to be one bolt/knob there so it can pivot to check 3rd axis
