Never thought about that! And now that I think about it, my arrow does kind of float on the rest and my grouping is not that great. Now between this and my purple nose button, I should shoot pretty good! Can’t wait to give this a try! Thank you so much! Learning a lot from your videos
You have helped me so much with your ideas about bow set up. Honestly I have hunted with a bow for almost 30 years and yes I have had success and shot very consistent. But your tips on timing, arrow selection, peep sight etc has improved my shooting ability. Honestly thank you and please continue what you are doing. I thought I had heard it all but there is always room to learn more.

Thank you for watching!!
Thanks Josh. They are always a few little tweeks that can make you a better archer. The closer you get to perfect form and setup the closer you get to arrow flight perfection.
This is something new I learn from you. I normally use a bow square to determine the nocking point and then tie the D loop outside both end of the nocking points. Thank you for your interesting video.
I'm so excited to start hunting my season in NY starts Thursday and I'm ready to hop in the stand and shoot a big one. love your vids man
These tips have helped me for sure. I can get a five shot group in an inch circle from 25 yards. Huge improvement from when I got my bow
Always excited to see you drop a new video, btw I can't wait to see all the footage, but you and Sarah killed it this year!!!!
This is great advice for people who's bow shop is like Basspro or places that really aren't bow shops. Every time I take my bow in for a tune or just for a new loop the shop I got to always ties in knock points to help prevent this.

Love how detailed you get in these videos! Keep it up man!!
Wow thanks so much for all your time spent helping us. I never even considered this as a possibility for inaccuracy
I don't have a press but I will eventually. I will be rewatching all your videos. These tips are the best. I like to tinker but with not having a press I can only do so much. Thanks again and I look forward to the next video!
Thank you for a short informative video on something most of us out here probably never pay attention to. I didn’t know about the directions being different on tying in the D loop for left eye dominant shooters. I recently got my old bow 🏹 restrung and forgot to tell the guy at Cabela’s that I trust about that fact about me.
Cool to see the constrictor knot showing up again. Incredibly useful knot. Can't over think bow tuning. It all makes difference. Especially when you might only get one shot.

Thanks for the tips!! I truly become a better bowhunter by watching these. You do your job very well!!
It would be awesome to have an instructional video on all the tools and equipment needed to fix and tune your own bow for the beginners like myself who take everything to a shop. Love what you guys do thanks for the great videos!

With tuning your bow and restringing alot of the time they say tou have to use a bow press this is not necessarily true as ive done it all in five minutes my self without a bowpress. Its not recomended but its not imposible all you need is the aplen keys that came with your bow and a new string and some good old epbow grease
I swear you put out these videos out a week after I struggle through these issues every time! Good stuff. It’s these little details that solve the most troubling of issues.

Hey man, just wanted to say thank you. Just sealed the deal on my first white tail with a bow. I have been watching your videos for about a year or so now and I feel as if watching how you hunt, your determination and drive for the sport an the pointers you give all throughout the hunt really helped me in a real life situation tonight, thanks again, God bless, stay safe, and shoot strait brother!

I’ve harvested deer with firearms, plenty actually but nothing can compare to that feeling of letting that arrow fly
I want to thank you for bringing this to my attention. My bow shop was not paying attention to this at all, and I’ve been wondering what is wrong with my bow and shot. And this is exactly what it was. My knock was pinching pullimg up and had no wiggle room. I took it back and told him I think I no wht it’s not paper tuning. And he said ahh that’s not a big deal you don’t want any play. Well he put a smaller serving on, gave it some spin room and a hair of wiggle room and my bow sounds completely diff and is so accurate! Thanks Josh. And I’m rocking the nose button 💪🏻👍🏻🦌
Y’all have helped me so much I’ve had to teach myself everything because I don’t have any family that hunts so you’re videos mean alot
These has become one of my favorite channels on KZread! I’m just getting into archery and tips like these are very helpful for someone who doesn’t know much and doesn’t have a teacher.

I think that is exactly what is wrong with my bow. My bow shop guy is a little old fashioned with a lot of stuff when come to trying something new. He always tells me you’ve been watching KZread again haven’t you. Thanks for the great tips.
Been binge watching all your content.. Impressive every time. Very informative. Especially for those of us just starting out with setting up our own gear. Much appreciated. Keep it coming

Hey Josh, I really love your tech stuff! I'm an old bowhunter who worked for Fred Bear back in his heyday...Many of the things you talk about for accuracy , I had done myself too..lol I used to tie a dental floss big knot for my tip of nose maybe 30 years ago, along with a kisser button, but no peep..it worked well out to 40 yds. I also have noticed different nocks pinch to tight...and it's very important that they all are the same tension...Maybe address that sometime too! Every little bit helps! I am 65 and still shoot a bow.. :D
Well done. This is what I was testing on my bow today after tying in new d loop!
Great tips, really makes want to make sure everything is set up correctly for my set up.
Taking my IBEP next weekend really looking forward to being able to hunt once I pass 🤞🏼. In the meantime been practicing all the time and constantly tinkering with my bow to get it perfect. Thanks Josh I’ve put many of you tips to good use and and have my box shooting pretty sweet now. By the way I’ve done all my own bow se up from day one. Being from the UK we don’t have the kind of archery support over here as you have in the states my local pro shop doesn’t sell compounds and knows less than I do about them. The only way I leaned was by watching videos such as yours and from other giving great tips and advice. Keep up the great work thanks again guys.

Great video! Had my bow setup up earlier this year. Got new arrows and lighted nocks after a while after. The arrow wouldn’t lay in the rest because of the nock pinch! Had to redo the serving and d loop to fit the new nocks! It definitely happens!
