Mfjj right on seeing a noticeable difference at distance. One is a 204 the other is 246 inner diameter. One is rolled carbon the other is woven. If you do the tuning you can get a .006 arrow to fly just as good as the .001. as a target or 3d arrow the warrior is a good economical arrow. Let's face it if you shoot a lot your going to lose or destroy arrows. Personally I'd rather lose a cheaper arrows and use my better arrows for hunting

100% on point with your outro. I see too many people that research graphs and charts between products that are nearly splitting hairs just to pay the extra for something you won’t be able to squeeze that performance out of without an extreme amount of experience. However, that is marketing and consumers want to know they bought the best.

Great video Tim, way to take the time to build the arrows carefully and methodically. I believe that truly pays off. Only think I would add to your arrow building process is doing anothet spin test after you install the insert & field point with the hot melt glue. In my personal experience that glue can build up in certain spots of the insert causing the arrow wobble in a spin test. Good thing is you just need to boil some water, dip the tip of the arrow in for 2-3 seconds and readjust/ spin test until it sounds perfectly. Love the content Tim, keep it up!

Wassup Brother. Awesome video. I just recently switched from Gold Tip Hunter XT 340's to Victory RIP 350's for this season. I'll probably go to the TKO's eventually, but I'm happy with the RIP's for now. Now I have a choice of broadheads to make. Iron Will single bevel 125's or the VPA Omega 125 single bevel. I'd be interested in seeing how those Warriors handle broadheads up front. I'm sure they're not spine aligned so they might do some funky stuff. But, you never know unless you do it. Keep up the amazing work. It definitely helps a lot of us.

Awesome one, I’ve been debating this one for long time and, especially when I first started spotting $3 Walmart arrows that I shot great to my RIP TKO elites that shot just as good,,, lol only difference in quality I saw was durability, but after shooting 3D and sometimes losing arrows, I’ve went back and forth a lot and sometimes went cheaper but just built em well,, and reserve the spendy ones for other things, but great job and love the advice, “Just get started” I’m gonna use that one, thanks 🙏 brotha

I love my gold tips. I bought a single set or rip tkos on a trip and we passed through lancaster. They reccomended 400s for my draw. One of them was a defect and broke during the shot. Victory wouldn't cover it because they reccomend a 340 spine for my draw and lancaster stood by their stance that 400 spine was appropriate. Won't get another victory product after that. Gt hunters are more than just fine and half the cost for a higher tolerance.

I’ve added painters tape to each arm to hold the vane in place when closing and that’s helped, but it’s causing imperfections at the base of the vane. Second - it would be awesome to see a torture test between MFJJ’s new collar and half outs compared the 50 gr aluminum and 75 gr titanium that victory offers. Great vid!

Buy some X10 protours. You know you want to. I got 2dz shafts and 4dz SS points, pins, and nocks 15 years ago. Still have more than a dozen and it’s the only outdoor target arrow I shoot. It’s a real advantage in the wind. Also the shaft is so thin that I squeezes into a tight group of arrows. People are constantly buying new bows but buying these arrows but in my opinion investing in X10s is the best money spent in outdoor target archery.

I always assume the more expensive arrows are for championships. Like the X10's. Let us assume they are 0,5% "better" (consistency etc). For us, mere humans, that 0,5% means absolutely nothing as we are less consistent as archers. But the champions shooting 62 arrows that 0,5% is a massive difference.

Why did you knock the gold tip below you d loop? I wanna see the broad head video, I totally re did my arrows this year from a vap gamer 250 spine at 450 grains to sportsman's gold tip 340 spine at 405 grains but having trouble getting broadheads to tune.

I shoot my expensive arrows at indoor and when i haven't streatch out for awhile my cheaper victory vsport come out and it's hard to tell a difference but i do prefer the more expensive arrow, i probably own about 800- 1000 arrows and about 27 bows but trying to stick to the same bow and gear fir consistency

You shoot considerably better with the thumb button vs the index release….draw length looks better too, less face on that string

Squaring the arrow is irrelevant. The arrow is only as square as the insert, if the insert fits tight and is square there you go.

Was the back of the warrior arrow split? I have had that happened a lot with rampage arrows.

It is the .005 tko's so it's pretty close to an apples to apples comparison when it comes to the specs. It would have made more sense to do it with elite .001's

@TimConnor13 nah I'm good lol I'm just saying .005 tko's aren't $400 or close to the same tolerances of a $400 dozen. It works fine for the torture test but not for accuracy and broadhead flight. Just an observation from a fellow archer

If you tune your bow to add another inch or so of draw length, your shooting will improve. You're limiting your shooting stamina, and accuracy having your draw length set too short. It's at keast an inch short by the looks of your form. Just a suggestion.

I shoot these garbage x3 envy arrows from basspro which happen to be goldtip hunters during the summer and then for deer season I pull out my GT hunter pros, I see next to no difference other than a little drop from the added weight of the lighted nock. I would not hesitate to hunt with the X3 envy arrows and actually have before I got the hunter pros.

Is your draw length too short? It looks like when you draw you have to pull the bow in closer to get anchored
