Finally! A Class B that doesn't force unnecessary, unwanted, and space-wasting 3rd & 4th seats on us and accepts that there are many of us that travel only as solo or couples.

We travel in a ProMaster as a couple, and have wished for a third seat whenever we visit friends or family, because otherwise we have to travel separately or borrow another vehicle.

WOW!!! A van with an actual usable bathroom. This is the first time I've ever seen one that I could actually comfortably shower and use the toilet. It looks huge!

A coach with the bathroom in the back will always win me over!👍🙂

Bought the 2021 version of this. I'm riding in it now as my wife drives because it is so easy to drive and parks in a regular spot. BTW, the microwave is convection.. The back bath is fantastic and roomy and we love it. Three dislikes: 1. Ours has older style front and rear screen doors which are finicky. The new ones are much better. 2. Laguna table. We just don't use it much and it only has one location between the beds. We like the pedestal table up front. 3. Non convertible bed. We made our own. We sleep in twins, One bed with the bath at our feet or we also fit crosswise. LIKES: 1. Rear bath. Amazing and love showering in it with lots of elbow room and the truma is great. 2. Promaster. We love the Promaster more than we thought and will not upgrade to a Ford. Sit up high and have a great view. I don't want to see the van front, I see the road! Also we park in regular parking spaces and are pickup truck length. So easy to drive at speed on the highway or on back roads! 3. Design: The small passenger side cabinet, the white Amish cabinetry, etc.Did I mention we love ours?!

@@Den34lle Probably not. The height is at least 9'4". I cannot do most fast food drive-thru lanes and have not found a garage that fits more than 8', if that.

We actually own a 2021 RB and love it. The fridge size is perfect for us even though some may think it’s small. I agree that the cab is a bit tight, but we’ve grown used to it now. The best part about this RV is how nimble it is and we can go anywhere in it 🙂

I agree with Andrea that it would be great to have the option to turn the twin beds into a full or queen bed. Also, a 2 burner propane cooktop and a larger fridge would make this one of the nicest Class B floorplans that I have seen👍

The rear bath was awesome!! I'm not a fan of wet baths but that one is laid out very well. And the fact that it's not midway in the coach to make your walkway super tight, excellent job Coachman.

I would like bigger storage tanks. My fave truck camper for a short bed truck has bigger. However this is wonderful. It has all of my biggies-small vehicle, tv that can be on, solar and great power thinking. I would rig that bed to be bigger because my dog already tries to move me over to the side. I’d be on the floor. Mini schnauzer for the win. I sit up straight with or without a seat back in that position. My three sons all put a slant on my car seat when they drive it so it’s good to have options.

Holly crap that is more than what we paid for our 2021 Fleetwood Bounder 33C loaded. But very nice Class B.

I love it also. If you would like a large bed perhaps they could put a piano hinge and plank along side of bed with a couple fold down leg or insert leg when deployed as ledge to hold center mattress. Now about the driver seat reclining problem if they switched burner and sink, then lowered the counter about 8 to 10 inches. Flip the fridge with the drawers on opposite side and have a larger one.

The extra tv hook up is if you want to change it's location. Sleeping the other direction.

That Bathroom knocks Everybody else's wet bath out of the park, Phenomenal! (Definitely made me ok with wet baths!) And Coachmen, thanks for making Matt happy, a Porcelain toilet- 🙂 .. you've outdone yourselves with all that room in the bathroom! Love those screens too! Yes, would love a bigger fridge, a 2 door would do, ..must have 2 burners for cooking, and eventually a pop top for the grandkids! Personally, I love the 2 beds, got to get to the bathroom quickly, ha.. There r so many things to like about this RV, too numerous to list, Thank you! ♥️

Those running boards are excellent in snow as the snow pushes through instead of having to be brushed off. We forgive y’all for not knowing this; living in FL. Love your energy. Thanks for doing these reviews

I agree about the small fridge. Wish they would have moved it to where the extra countertop is, made it bigger and replaced the small fridge with drawers.

I love class B's. This one does seem to have more room between the upper cabinets, I like that a lot, windows are great, bathroom door nice also. To get a bigger fridge take the cabinet by the door move the drawers where the fridge is now and put a taller fridge where the cabinet is facing toward the front so you can access from the outside as well. Don't know if it is possible but put lap seat belts on one or both beds so you can bring someone with you, like to a beach.

Matt and Will, forgot to day on your video with the microphones...I could hear you clearly when you turned toward the vehicle - no dampened sound when you turned away from camera and that was nice! I turn the volume up and down usually and I didn't need to do that with the microphones. Very nice! Hey, love this class B!

Number 4 on the dislikes would be the fact that they used an entire cabinet (over the sink)for the electronics panel. Other brands put the panel over the door or on the front of the cabinet over the TV.

I love the floor plan, color scheme and the twin beds. I don’t like the driver side seat.

Being a Southerner, I ‘s like to see an ice-maker on board! And a bathtub, for those of us with art hand need to soak out our stiffness.

Love it - this is the model I will look at first when I'm ready to buy. Nice Job Matt and Andrea!

The 20c has the large refrigerator

This is almost perfect! If those beds sat like twin recliners that lay flat, only for sleeping. The sink could be a bit further from the driver, as you pointed out. Coachman did really well with that bathroom, except for that awkward curtain. A screen would work to keep the water in, without the curtain sticking to you.

Is there storage spaces under the twin beds? If not, what is that space being used for? Likes: *bathroom/shower/sink area w/door located in the rear *kitchen space w/microwave/fridge *window shades (are they blackout as well)? Dislikes: *price is a bit high/B.Friday discount ended after 1 day *cramped drivers side (I often slide my seat back for comfort when driving). Hope to see one in person one day soon! Nice!

Everyone makes fun of me because I hate reclining my seat when driving...and now I see there is a van made just for me. :D

I'm not a B van person, but I went back to watch some to see certain things. I really like the rear bath on B vans, they give you the most room, and this one is amazing, with the clothing (or whatever) storage back there. + I'm impressed with the interior storage, not only the amount but the quality and look of the cabinets, I don't like the origami beds that class B's tend to have, so the fixed twins are fine; the option to connect them would be good esp if you have a dog 🐕. + Lagoon tables, euro style windows with screens & shades and + the simple pull down screens at the door areas. Only dislikes are -tiny fridge & - that you can't see the front of the van when driving.

Love no 3&4 seat, whites interior,bathroom,screen windows & doors & storage..

You guys never mention that the QG 2800 generator is the quietest on the market. It should be one of your likes.

That second TV spot is probably if you want to upgrade to something bigger since the other one runs off of 12 volts

Love the bathroom, I like the twin beds. Would love the option of a couch or 2 chairs. Traveling alone. Love the white cabinets. But the # 1 thing I hate is the price. Why so expensive ? It's a travel van, same price as a class c. Kinda rediculous

being that im on my second rv going on my last and third, class B, its going to be this one with the lithium package (for me) NO generator and i will get the value out of no noise and extra power for my gamer TV (80" :)

Love the big bathroom, the twin bed, the door screen and small kitchen. Perfect 🥰

I'm late to the game with this one, but here goes... 3 things I like: (1) thorough insulation that Coachmen is known for, (2) bathroom design, (3) beds that can be used during the day / don't require any special assembly. 3 dislikes: (1) outdoor shower does not include hot water, (2) no Apple CarPlay, (3) no spare tire. Thanks for all you do!

I like the bathroom space but I must say even as a single guy I would want the bed space to convert to one big bed so I have more room to sleep.

I think the van has a lot of nice features. Sink and fridge are way to small, and the induction should be the type that fits in a drawer. I agree with another commentator to either have a fold up or down counter to give the driver room to recline, or switch the kitchen area to the passenger side. It needs a convertible bed. Twins are fine for lounging but not for long term living. I’ve slept on twins, and it’s not great for turning or stretching out. Also, it should be designed for couples that sleep together

#VanLife 3 Dislikes - fold down bathroom sink seems prone for breaking over time. - wardrobe and drawers for clothing in the bathroom makes the clothing smell damp from the accumulated moisture that may not have vented out of the coach. - pop out side windows especially on the sliding door side seem prone for breaking if they aren't closed when the door slides open. 3 Likes - porcelain toilet - multiple solar panels - sliding bug screen for the door instead of that rolled up thing other class B rvs use.

My dislikes are the sane as yours. Bed not big enough, refrigerator nit big. The drivers seat doesn’t stretch back far. My likes are the bath room the tables you can can use two tables to work with. The interior. Thank you Matt and Andrea.

Matt you keep on saying for a small motor home the over Rv is great. It is small and smart. The only one thing is the price. And Matt please include the seat belts, you never mention them and for a family or grandparents that is important. Thanks for all you and your partners do in Matt’s Rv review the channel is great.

Did I miss the ccc? I like the overall floorplan, the rear bath, and overall look. I dislike the small fridge, the location of the microwave [too low], and the folding bathroom sink.

Love: Rear bath & Twin beds - that's the ideal 20' floorplan. Rear bath is great, because if you come back to the van dirty, you can just hop in the back and wipe off, take off dirty shoes, etc and not track dirt through. As a solo traveler I love twin beds, because on can be set up as a bed and the other as a sofa, so they can always stay set up and the only time I have to go through the effort of converting anything is if DH decides to tag along for some reason. Dislike: I have to agree with Matt here - driver's seat not reclining and the small fridge. Also I'd like a bigger sink - I love the way Wingamm is doing it in the Oasi 610GL - use the entire space for a nice usable sink.

Love the Ram Nova, bathroom and twin beds are great. Love the lay out. Price is lower than most Class Bs. Thank you for the review.

I would like the lithium battery version with the 3000 watt inverter. I would like to not have to bend over so low to use the microwave. Love the back bathroom, twin beds, white cabinets, and pretty much everything.

Absolutely love 💝 that huge bathroom 🚽 although I believe it could be a little embarrassing if someone was able to open the back door 🚪 while you were taking a shower 🚿 or sitting on the toilet 🚽 😅but definitely loving 🥰 the size of it

You'll TOTALLY get used to the Ram's "nose". I've had 2 Caravans and I love that. I DO NOT like that the driver seat doesn't recline. I don't know if I'd find that comfortable. Likely a deal breaker because we are interested in getting a Class B. Other than that I LOVE this (bathroom, beds, TV position and screens) and I'd buy it. We'd put drinks in a Playmate cooler so the refrigerator size wouldn't, likely, matter. I think it would fit on the 2nd counter.

Karen George I LOVE the twin beds! This is great for older couples (like us) and for those that travel solo from time to time (like me). One side is always made up as the bed and the other is your dining/work/living area. I do wish that the cabinetry (it is beautiful) in these rear bath models was of another material, so you would only need the shower curtain against the back doors. That is my biggest complaint with the shower bath area (all manufacturers). Is the lagoon table movable from one bed to the other. You can move the TV from one location to the other if you want your head at the other end of the bed.

Finally, the only one who is interested in a large, spacious bathroom, I think this is the best of all the ones I have seen.

Love this one. All 4 P’s in a class B 🥳. This one is going on my list of potential rvs.

Likes: Solar, side/back door screen doors, the kitchen and the LI3 option Dislikes: Wet bath

I'm not a fan of Bs but this would be the one I'd buy if I was. It's perfect for weekends or even a week long trip for one or two people. And that bathroom! The other manufacturers better step up their game!

That bathroom is really surprising! They nailed it! But what they could have done with the fridge is use a cooler-style fridge on a drawer glide. This would offer more advantages than that bar-style fridge. Otherwise this is a really surprising model.

I could see a dual cooler stacked on drawer slides. One for freezer and one for cooler. That would be enough to get a few groceries in and some cool drinks too.

Yep push the kitchen back to free up driver's seat And remove one bed for solo travelers...ad tie downs for equipment in place of one bed. Very nice thorough video ..thanks

Great review. The restroom is actually useable. Well designed by hiding the toilet. Happy to see that they went induction for cooking. Li3 is hopefully a bit less expensive for this unit. I would like to see more RV’s utilize the Volta lithium system. The finishes are nice, but they need to fix the driver’s seat.

Yeah, there are other Class Bs in that price $130k+ range that have a bathroom too, so I'm with ya on that. That's why I've been trying to figure out how to do a cheap and basic build that wouldn't be too hard. Ya know, something that doesn't do a lot of physical modifications to the van itself so that it can be easily undone or redone and can hold one over until they can save up for something better.

I'm glad you're paying attention to the comfort of the driver & passenger. the basic essentials in the kitchen sink ( should be square ) fridge / microwave. you don't need a cooktop( bring elect frypan if you plan in flying stuff ) get rid of the cooktop and make the fridge taller . split bed is the only way to go ( pull out shelf with a topper for luna ) bathroom is very nice, I just don't see any suitcase storage. this is a travel van -point A to B .This is what you load up to hit the road and visit family, there needs to be storage. Maybe get rid of the entire kitchen just keep the fridge.

I like this one quite a bit. It's really nice. I just wish Class B's could be a bit cheaper. I wonder what sort of deal you'd get at a RV show.

I’m impressed. I usually don’t like the rear bath, but I love this one. My 3 dislikes, I agree with Matt about the tiny fridge as well as the limited driver seat space. A pet peave of mine with Coachman class b’s is the numerous ports and stickers on the driver’s side. I would prefer to have them behind a panel or at least have the coach cladded or painted black on the lower part to make it a little more stealth like. I would also like blind spot monitor, at least as an option. Likes, I have more than 3 I’m sure. Outside, I like the smart plug as well as the ladder. As mentioned above, I am impressed with that bathroom, in particular that they provide that storage panel accessed at the rear which also serves to hide the toilet. Finally I love the twin beds and lack of rv cushions. One could always add cushions if desired. Looks great. 👍

We just switched our round sink out for a square one. The round one just didn't fit much inside of it for rinsing, etc., and we'd end up with water outside of it. If it is a plastic style, it can be ruined with just one hot pan laid in before thinking. Our poor friends found that out. If you spend a lot of time in hot places, such as AZ, the stretchy storage panels will stretch out and rot within a very short time.

Get pots/pans that have removable handles. Round sink saves water and saves space if your cabinet is designed right like the one I’m building. Why would you have a square sink when everything you put in it is round once you take the handles off the pots?

I really like this small B. Although I have never been a fan of the Ram vans , they did a really great job here. It has plenty of storage, looks well made and well thought out. Three dislikes: 1. The driver seat needs to have a little more room to recline. Even a few more inches helps 2. The fridge is a bit small. Can they eliminate the drawer above it and increase the size? 3. This is VERY minor: yes this a wet bath but can the spray nozzle be positioned higher up? Three likes: 1. I love the bath area. Very usable and access to it is great. 2. My wife and I sleep close but we both agree the twin bed layout makes sense here. 3. Storage. Plenty enough in this small unit. We were impressed. Thank you

I absolutely LOVE this! It’s not big, it’s one van (doesn’t have to be attached to a truck), and THE BATHROOM IS PERFECT! I agree with Andrea because I would love to have an option to have it one, big bed. I want to be able to take my younger daughter along with my husband and I on trips and there is no room for one of us to sleep. Other than that, I LOVE THIS!

Put a bed across the front seat. Many handymen can make a foldable platform and just use a camping sleeping pad.

Or put hooks in the ceiling and hang a hammock toward the front of the van so that the path to the toilet is always free.

If you can do a follow up with the Nova 20c - I’d be curious if there’s more leg room for the driver

I have a 2022 20C and the bath is located behind the driver seat, I am 6'1" and a burly frame, I am able to drive comfortable, I found that if I roll the seat back in the upright position like Matt demonstrated, I can move it forward a click or two and recline the back to a comfortable position, the swivel and recline levers are on the seat base corners they look like trim pieces and can be overlooked. The steering wheel also telescopes only (No tilt) so you can find your position of comfort with the seat reclined more than upright and steering wheel at a comfortable reach. Then you can adjust your mirrors, another missed opportunity is the upper and lower mirrors adjust on both sides from the remote, and the mirrors retract with a flip of the switch. Couple that with the Digital Review Mirror and you can drive comfortable and see just about everything. Matt didn't mention the 2022's from Coachmen are now shipping with Blind Spot Monitoring, Digital Review Mirror and Cross Traffic Review Sensor. The above issues were all deal breakers for me and Coachmen and Ram came through with a winning combo. We absolutely love or rig.

I enjoy watching Matts videos because he's nothing but a 100% honest. he'll tell you what's good and what's not so good about the product he selling, I've been in the Motorsports business for 30 years just retired and I used to do the same thing with my customers and they came back and also recommended me because of that. Also as far as his build is concerned I think it's an awesome van for the money I like the fact that all the controls are up high so you don't have to bend down for them. I personally would love to see that hot plate tossed into the garbage and have a nice dometic gas burner so you can actually cook with this thing as I plan to do when I buy mine, cuz I'm going to live in it for a year and travel the country but I do like this floor plan and I know Matt doesn't like class B's which is another reason why I trust him 100% because he's a no-nonsense, tells you how it is type of guy. Keep making these videos Matt thank you for the work you put into them.
