I’m 5’5” so I wouldn’t have to set up the bed

To set up the bed, after sliding out the slatted frame, I think you slide both of the big seat cushions to the middle and put the smaller cushions on the sides. I have a vintage mini caravan with a similar set up and that’s how its done. You don’t put the little cushions in the middle, that would be uncomfortable.

Really well done presentation. As an American, if I were living in your market, I would definitely consider this campervan: it does everything you need to travel and even live. I am mystified by the British tendency to treat hot water or ice cold water as a luxury, when you can really find it anywhere in North America, Japan or Korea. It is a small thing, because living in a campervan means you will be showering in other places, but it is nice to take a shower in a pinch without having a back spasm:):) With that said, finding a manual transmission here is the US is so niche, I am really jealous of the fact that it is so readily available in the UK. It really enhances the driving experience. Again, well done.

For a shower, you could install your own shower curtain ring (think basketball hoop) on the outside or inside of the van - stand in a shallow foot tub, using warm water you boil up.

Really well planned use of the space --- Everything needed for a little get away --- Small enough to be easy to drive and traverse in city traffic as well. Wish they sold them here in the US!!

I want one! The fact this is as small as it is, yet has a closed off bathroom sells it for me! I also really like the kitchen being at the back like that, and the stove/oven fridge combo is a plus! The shades on the windows are quite neat too! Lovely little van!

If you're boondocking there are lots of options for showering outside the camper in a private tent. If you're in a campground most have shower houses. There's always the "hospital" shower using a washcloth and water in a sink. Enjoyed best if the bath assistant is compatible.

Shower room? No hot water!

That's actually a fab little camper. 5 points: 1) Really should have had a hot water feed in that space under the driver side bed for a warm wash and for dishes. 2) That cupboard above the cab should have TV in it & plugs nearby with enough room to open and get behind. 3) The loud furnishing material needs a tone-down hopefully it can be specced with something a little tamer. 4) Setting up the bed system needs tweaking, should be no reason to run around to the front to get into bed mode, a rear release to push the seats forward would be better. 5) Change the table into a center-folding oval that doubles as a replacement for the individual fold-outs over the seat-backs. With those improvements this would be a game changer and I would put my order in right away!

We have putting up the double bed down to a fine art now . We love our New Rio and craftsmanship and finish is superb. Heater is brilliant for winter months.we have a table on one side to use and then becomes part of the double bed.

We used to have an Open Road and took 5 people out west in it. Two kids slept in that area above the driver and front seat (it is storage here). We had a ball. And it was our second vehicle for around town. I miss it a lot.

Looks almost perfect to me. Would have never thought it had a wet bath, stove, sink, and refrigerator/freezer. Some aren't that crazy about the bed set-up, but it's actually looks pretty spacious once you get it put together. My only issue would be no AC. I'd like to think one could be put in though.

@@thomashenebry8269 Yeah, that bed design's ridiculous. 3 extra cushions to do what those 2 unused cushions could've handled and a setup that requires a lot of fiddling with the vehicle seats. It honestly would've have been too hard to design that better. Seems like they could've just designed it to have the seats go forward to free up enough space for the bed extension, then pop 2 of the back support cushions onto the extension support. Hell, probably could've had the support planes just extend out instead of folding out. That'd probably cut out most, if not all of the vehicle seat adjustments.

Im pretty sure that 1, most people are not going to be hanging out in this in the heat. This is a traveliing businessman type camper. Someone who is busy through the day and has a truckstop or gym membership so they can shower so the heat isnt a big deal. But should you have time during the heat of the day than finds you without alternate activity, the truck has ac. And i promise that the ac in a truck hauling all that around is gonna be pretty powerful. Put up some windo covers to keep the heat out and run the ac for about about an hour. Point the vents toward the center and put a large fan in between the seats facing into the living area. It would keep you plenty cool.

It doesn’t appear to be a wet bath. He mentioned that it isn’t because there’s only cold water throughout.

Imagining walking around the van in the rain or in deep snow only to make your bed. However; A supended/floating bed would have been a much better solution and a simple shower/toilet could easily fit in the bathroom.

The way prices of property and heating costs are soaring in the UK and many other countries, this could be perfect temporary accommodation for many. Definitely something I'd consider

I think for the size it’s remarkable what was done, no shower might be an issue for some people but you could find a way around it. The storage above the cab seems a decent size.

I have a 1993 Eldorado by Horizon campervan in the U.S. that is 8.5 inches longer than this one. They did at one time sell an almost affordable equivalent for size in the U.S. but were not popular enough at the time to continue. They do make similar class b campers in the U.S. they are just north of 120K usually though.

The only time I had to go outside to make up my bed was when I was in the Army. It was called a tent, but this little unit is impressive.

We owned one and had some great trips in her and when we sold her 3 years later we only lost £1400 on the original price. We could park in supermarkets car parks, Good loo and shower. ❤❤❤❤❤

You have to admire the design and engineering that's gone into this. Some small campers look terrible from the outside and aren't all that practical either. However, this one looks great and is very practical indeed.

The size and idea is awesome. Floor plan is nice. Base on PSA combivan is a a guarantee of relatively trouble-free driving but… by the design of interior people easily could assume it’s British work. It looks like every house in UK 20 years ago xD

What a cute camper. I grew up learning how to drive stick, so it would be quite fun to drive this camper and camp overnight at all the Federal and State parks on the US East coast.

That’s a great design. Perfect little getaway machine, very warm & cozy.

The design is similar to nissans atlas, kitchen in the back and sitting area in the front. I find the arrangement optimal because it separates utility area vs living area allowing each zone to be fully organized from the limited space.

It's got a CD player in the dash. As a "physical media until I die" person, that alone makes it better than most new cars on the market to me, not that there's enough space in the living quarters to store much more than a small CD wallet.

This is nice. It would be perfect if it had hot water and a shower. Even if it was a sit-on-the-John shower. Also, If the front seats spun around, you’d have a place to sit down and can use the “ledge” as a table. Yes, these things would add a bit more space but…

Just one thing I noticed in this great little van is a locking mechanism on the upper storage cabinets instead of using your head lol. And I hope the table is more sturdy than it looked in this video. Other than that it is a great little camper van! I also wish the US had them.

In the US, you get something with 2-3 axles to pull behind a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. Or you spend well into the 6 digits for something with it's own engine. This thing looks like a sweet heart.

I tell you what - she is a beauty. I have always loved the look of the Romahome as they look so Cozy but the kitchen layout and washroom in this really takes this to next level beyond Romahome. If it wasn’t for the drive quality of our VW, and the fact we have hot water, I would almost have been jealous and wanted to swap.

Its a freakin tiny tiny house on wheels.....brilliant! All the different names for the doors, a barn door?? A habitation door....its just so formal but not so formal! This is a very cozy camper!! ✨ 🇬🇧 ✨ 🍻 ✨ 💖 from the US

Nice simple design with dual bench seats, nothing too fancy. I personally would probably want a more modern version and maybe a little portable/foldable tray desk to put a laptop or food on in the back area. Other than that a nice manageable style for roadtrips.

I'd do a bigger window in the rear and ditch the bathroom sink, to add space, and IIUC there's no shower, I'd add hot water and a shower. Since it's just me, I'd leave the bed conversion cushions home and use that cubby for storage. Even without any changes, this is a jewel. Definitely wish this were available in the US

Love the way manufacturers put the explosive LPG in the crumple zone of vehicles.

Man I would love something like this in the states, I'd replace the left hand bed with some table space, maybe a mini desk to sit and eat/work at leaving areas for the water tank and extra storage and slot for a small folding stool.

Perfect for 2. Would be nice if an option of petrol hybrid like Toyota Prius. The engine would take care of heating, cooling and charging the battery.

The only downside for me is how much work it is to set up the bed. After driving all day, I would not want to hassle with that 😄

Very impressive. we had three different trailers one of absolutely necessities, was having a bed I could get into without having to tear the table apart. This wouldn’t work for me, but it is really a nice set up.

The small Italian made Wigham Oasis is available in USA. It is small like this. It has a pull down bed.and a couch that turns on too bed. I like the twin set us in this one.

Interesting camper. I like the kitchen and bathroom setup! Very impressed with that for such a small camper. I would prefer to be able to roll out the bed without having to go outside the vehicle though. That won't be nice late at night /after dark. Perhaps a (motorised) futon for the bed?

Sleep on a single with a sleeping bag and pillow. So easy. Sheets are overrated in an RV

I wish they would make these available in Canada... it is so cute

Actually you can ship it .this really isn’t that expensive to get it shipped where you want it Canada U.S. etc they send stuff here already the lance avia there from Europe I would think for this $1200.00 maybe more to ship

@@romavillamiguel9934 Yes, whenever I've done the math on car-hotel vs. RV, the car-hotel wins. Hotels are not nearly as much fun as your own camper space to sleep and eat in, but you end up not owning anything beyond your car, and that's a huge relief of so many costs. This is a great little camper, though, for those who do not share my opinion.

We do need small campers like this in USA. Come on manufacturers make it happen!

Put a quilt over each bench/cushions. Easy to launder. Enough of a blanket in the summer and additional warmth in the winter. Flat sheets on main bench cushion saves on bed making as the quilts cover them.

I was looking for something small and got recommended different kind of vids about kei campers from Japan. However I'm 6.5 ft tall so that was no option 😂. Those are definitely not for people taller than say 2 ft. This is much better 😃. This looks really great, and it's almost impossible to really match with something self built. Not available in the Netherlands though. But thanks for the inspiration ☺️
