It is very exciting and regardless some of the pushback it’s been receiving. I’m all for it.

Just wanted to say that sadly the bot pretty much used DnD5e rules for this. Mentioning things like proficiency bonuses and finesse weapons which don't exist in Basic Fantasy, rolling initiative with d20s instead of d6s, the ability rolls also used 5e rules instead of the optional ability roll rules from Basic Fantasy, and also allowing you to roll for Detect Magic as if it was an ability roll instead of a spell you had to prepare and spend a slot on. I was glad that you corrected it about the Magic User's one spell slot. So a very interesting experiment but I think if you are thinking of continuing, make sure it has the correct set of rules. There is an online SRD for Basic Fantasy that it could probably use to reference the rules.

Hey bud, I know you got a bit of flack for this in the Basic Fantasy group. I understand some of the concerns with AI (as I'm a professional content creator) but to me there is a distinction between using AI as a tool and profiting from other people's work. This video definitely isn't that. In fact it inspired me to dust off my own copy of BFRPG and get my group together again. It is a tool that has made playing/ planning the game a lot less daunting. I award you a point of inspiration 👍👍

Yeah the basic fantasy group can be jerks at time Even the creator Chris gonnerman can be a dick sometimes. I use chatgpt some for solo play. There are people who like it and people who don't. It's the future of gaming whether people are fir it or against it. By the way basic fantasy is a good system but there are better systems out there. Main good thing about basic fantasy is the price.
