Film description: Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. No, she was demonstrating that his knowledge came from an actual mutant power, not from old-fashioned espionage. None of them believed he was actually a mutant even up to that point, which is why she stood up and gave them a visible demonstration. It also meant Xavier could avoid showing them that he not only reads minds, but can communicate with AND control them, which were the only things he could have demonstrated at that point to convince the humans.

@@OneBiasedOpinion That comment was a joke. But now I am serious, She could atleast transform into Charles or some people who already dead to keep them from afraid of her mutant's power. Charles actually make the same mistake: read his mind. Don't show people what you can do to them, that's asserting dominance. Charles show them he can read their mind and know everylittle secret of them, Mystique show them she can be them, with how they work (as FBI), they won't even be able to trust their own allies anymore. Imagine check a person walk in to see If they are Mystique or not, asking for info may not even work because Charles can read mind and tell Mystique exactly the info she need, Also Charles can just make them see what he want anyway.
