Lip basting works! Thank you so much for this tip! My lips have become really dry from wearing Invisalign. I have been using glycolic acid with a skin protector and it’s been so much better! 😊

@@emilylee9894 I think so- it’s some type of reaction. I have been rinsing a new set with the cleaner before I put them in my mouth and also using Dr. Idriss’ method and it seems to be working. Only a couple of months left of the Invisalign!!🎉

Works like a charm. For ppl who like me are sensitive to scented products: A good replacement is La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ instead of Weleda Skin Food when ur basting your lips with glycolic acid.

@@franklydarling....7244 I recommend lanolin cream which is a cream used for breast-feeding for sore nipples it doesn’t get rubbed off with any saliva and there’s a layer that gets left behind even if it kind of gets rubbed off I swear by exam of bad lip biter and this helps heal it in no time! My go to lip product isn’t sold anymore since bitebeauty went out of business and I they had a lip mask I swore by but I later found out that the secret ingredient is the lanolin cream! If you bite the inside of your lip and it’s soar you can rub you lips over it and it seals it really well! Hope this is helpful for somebody! I know this works I have a dry skin, mouth, eyes and this corks to heal everything in no time!

You gave Weleda as a tip on one of your earliest post on instagram and I always have dry lips… so I immediately went out and bought it. It’s a staple in my house. I slather it on. I don’t even care that it’s $22 CAN for a little tub of it. Worth it.

I've seen this in a fragrance free version, but it's been a few years. I saw it Whole Foods. I haven't checked lately. The original version is soothing. However, I have severe migraines, & the fragrance in this cream is way too intense for me. Many people love it. I just can't personally handle it. 😊

A make up artist told me to always brush my lips with my tooth brush when I brush my teeth. Since I do that, I have never had dry lips. And if I have a cold or anything that makes my lips especially dry, I ladder them up with Vaseline, let them soak and take the excess off

If you'd like to start retinols try the lowest doses you can find and apply them at night, starting less frequently working your way from 1 to about 3 times per week depending on the concentration. You can increase the frequency and concentration as your skin adjusts to the ingredient. Do not use together with other active ingredients in the same routine. Always wear and reapply sunscreen while using retinols. Don't use while pregnant and I HIGHLY recommend to consult a doctor personally before use. That's how I got rid of my acne entirely, once and for all in less than a year.

Excessive dryness, sun damage, and also genetics. These are few of the major contributing factors. What you can do for now to stop it from worsening are, use lipbalm with sunscreen, never apply lipsticks directly to your lips without applying a lip balm or Vaseline first. I personally apply Vaseline first as a base, then lipbalm with sunscreen and then my lipstick. Avoid licking your lips and leaving your lipstick on before going to bed, remove it with a gentle makeup remover, then exfoliate and moisturize it with either a lip balm or Vaseline. And the most important tip, keep hydrated to avoid chapped lips that'll lead to further damage. Hope this helps😊
