    I can do both of them.. the key to not roll in your upper lip is to only use the muscles at the sides of your mouth (basically just tug the sides of the lips), so your upper lip will just flatten out and not roll in.. if you use your muscles above your lips along with the side of your lips, it will indeed roll in.. the tugging of your upper lip plus the tensions from either sides will cause the lip to roll in.. But for those people who are genetically have thin lips then this might not work out form them..

    I had a lip flip about 2 weeks ago. I like the results. I’ve always had a thinner upper lip, and the results are subtle, look natural, and just enough to make my upper lip match my bottom lip. I don’t have issues eating or using a straw, and still have feeling and full movement. It was quick and the pain was minimal. It was also pretty inexpensive compared to fillers. It was my first experience with Botox or any kind of injectable.

    Can you talk about reoccurring yeast/fungal infections on the skin like ringworm? How to avoid antibiotics

  • @Heylollie343

    @Heylollie343

    9 ай бұрын

    Antibiotics will make fungal infections WORSE, if not cause them outright! Our skin has a natural biome of yeast and bacteria, which isn't a problem until it gets out of balance. Kill the bacteria, and the yeast will take its place and cause issues. Ring worm is super transmissible though, you probably will need an antifungal treatment, and consider where you caught the infection. Was it from a shower floor, or moist shoes? Ringworm is very common on feet and warm moist areas, but it can spread from there. Fungal acne is a bit different, but can be treated pretty effectively with anti-dandruff shampoo as facewash (not sure if this would be derm approved because it's a bit harsh, but it definitely works!) There have been some studies on raw honey that show it is a pretty effective antifungal treatment (used as a wash or mask), but a low quality honey that has been supplemented with corn syrup or cane sugar will make matters much worse! So be really careful! Keeping clean and dry, taking probiotics daily and avoiding excessive sugar can all help prevent future yeast infections.

    So I got lip filler, and my upper lip no longer hides. I can’t tell if this information applies to me or not but now I am curious about the lip flip if I ever try botox

    I've noticed on myself and other that I've rolled my lips inward when I was a kid. Every picture of me and my friends smiling , nonexistent lips. Idk when, but we all stopped doing that.

    I used to have a fuller top lip until my early 30s. Now when I smile, it’s just all teeth and scary looking (to me). I didn’t know there was an option for me, without making my lips too full looking. I have a very petite mouth.

    My bottom lip is a bit bigger than my top lip so I always like I’m sad, so I pout my top lip a bit to make them look even and I don’t look sad anymore lol

    Wow - your appearance changed so much when you rolled them under like that. As I get older, I see mysef doing that more and more -working to overcome doing that.

    I have this "rolling lip" smile. I have this gummy smile.But I don't do it intentionally it is just how I smile. I didn't even notice it untill one of my friend pointed it out I was so confused I was like do I really smile differently.😂 Now my son also has the exact same smile as me.

    I’m now trying to smile with out rolling my lip and I feel like I might be doing serial killer smile … I’m not sure tho I’m too scared to look 👀😳. 😂 also what if I already have full lips but still lip roll how can I just stop doing that with out looking like Norman Bates? Serious question honestly.

    So if you can choose to roll your top lip in or not, does that mean that it’s something you could retrain yourself to not do?
