Thanks for the reply, Kev. Here in Ohio, I went through Indeed. I never had a phone interview, but went straight to the on-site interview. Each shifts starts at midnight because of policies set by Wal-Mart, Sams Club and more big box stores. Even though I'm a retail store manager, I didn't get the job. I'm guessing it's because I never worked nights or drove a truck before. Best of luck to you!

They got back to me pretty quick. You should get an invitation for a phone interview, this one is automated. If you past that, you'll be invited for a face to face interview, with a ride along before job offer. I remember the whole process took like 2 weeks, so pretty quick. I am still working at Frito-Lay, and very happy. It's going very well, really can't complain. Starting pay really varies. I'm in the midwest, Iowa to be exact, and the starting pay here is $51,500. I will advise that it is a lot of work, and most days are 12+ hours. Good luck!

No, the job is awesome. The most frustrating thing, is that if you are a route sales associate (relief driver) it's very hard in the beginning because you dont always know where you're going to be week to week, or your merchandising instead of running a sales route. Depending on your district though, that may not last long. I started in December and I'll be on my own route within a few weeks....

I’ve enjoyed being an RSR for the last 4 years. I’ve made a lot of money even under the newer scale after commission was taken away. Recently lost my route due to a lunatic manager who just had a hard on for me to be kicked out of store and literally no reason and just like that on day one of my vacation I lost my route. Watch your asses. Unless you’re in a union (which I am not) I got royally fucked. I didn’t expect making top sales in the zone month after month and having great relations with all the people in my stores to have 1 POS who nobody in his own store likes to be able to have me kicked. It can be a good job otherwise. I am currently leaving though. Have to go back to being RSA and I have kids so the schedule thing doesn’t work for me. Good luck

That really depends on location. Where I am, target salary is $56,500. Our pay system is a little confusing. That target salary is based on you achieving 100% of your sales plan and working 50 hours per week. If you work more or less, pay is affected accordingly.
