Excited to see what you got in store for 2024 my man. Also if you want some recommendations for the Oscar contenders this year, I got you. I would say the big ones to check out: Barbie, Poor Things, Past Lives, Killers of the Flower Moon (If you have AppleTV+), The Holdovers, and this seems unlikely to get in but The Iron Claw is worth seeing, especially if you’re into sports bio pics. As well as Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret.

Glad you're recovering well. Minus One is excellent; I also recommend The Holdovers and Killers of the Flower Moon. Can't wait for an Endgame retrospective; it really is a special movie.

Am glad to hear your foot is getting better, I would love to see a video essay and retro videos too, especially on The Batman, Captain Marvel and Endgame, The Winter Soldier since it’s coming up for its 10 year anniversary! Looking forward to seeing your videos in the future!!

Oh yeah I forgot about “Winter Soldier”, I’ve been wanting to go more in depth especially after how Cap’s arc is completed in Endgame 🙂

I'm glad you're doing good, Joe. I hope 2024 will give you the creative juice that you are looking for. As far as Oscar contenders (I am so behind right now, I'm gonna try my best to catch up before the award show), I just recently watched "The Holdovers" on Peacock. I really loved the movie and loved the 70s old-school filmmaking of it. I would also be interested in hearing your thoughts on Barbie considering the opinions surrounding that movie. Keep up the great work!

Great to hear from you on hear Tony and thanks! :) it's been a slow month or so on my end and I've been trying to push myself into getting back in the groove but I'm looking forward to seeing what this year brings. I've heard a lot of good things about "The Holdovers" and I've already got it on my list as well as "Killers of the Flower Moon". As for "Barbie" I think I might cave in and give it a try because I'll admit that I wrote it off as "too girly and not for me" but everybody keeps talking about how good it was so I think I'll try it out.

Barbie in my opinion was something for everyone. I always knew it did from the marketing but the movie definitely did a great job of appealing to both demographics as well as the commentary on what both the men and women face. Definitely look forward to hearing your perspective on it.

Oh I know how about some comic reviews that would be fun
