I love Gabrielle Essence. It is one of my most modern fragrances, since I am an “old lady” who likes those perfumes that others consider “old lady” and they were already older than me when I was young. This is a beauty and I see it as a possible new classic. Chanel No. 5 EDP remains my favorite and the parfum and the edt are great too (a little skanky for me due to the civet note), but this is an easy reach and still has some of the Chanel magic. Chanel 1932 Les Exclusifs de Chanel is growing on me quickly. It is less sparkling on me and warmer than the coolness of my favorites, which makes the Chanel diamond inspiration for this one a surprise. I love your channel! Thank you.

Thank you rfbuffy 🙏🏻💖 have you tried Gabrielle parfum? Its my favorite Gabrielle concentration. Just magical. No5 edt does not have civet in it but No5 eau de cologne had a lot of civet in it but they discontinued it many years ago. Its was great though. Lets not forget that 1932 is also about platinum and not just diamonds. 😉💖 I need to wear 1932 more often. It is a beautiful fragrance but I do not wear it so often. I need to change that. 💖

I will have to save up for that one, but it is definitely one I plan to buy! Btw, I am falling in love all over again with No. 5 EDT. I think my love of it became polluted by nay sayers and Negative Nellies saying it smelled like “old lady,” “bug spray,” and “public toilet.” I became self conscious and figured I must smell hideous to others. So when I noticed just a little bit of dirtiness that quickly passes, I overreacted and stopped wearing them. That was silly because they are skin scents on me or the way I wear them and people who say they hate Chanel No. 5 will tell me how good I smell when they hug me. They have no clue and there are enough rude people in the world who would say something if I smell like all those adjectives used on fragrance chats everywhere. I think Chanel No. 5 maybe just picks some people and rejects others. I feel certain she chose me as one to wear her in all her formulations. EDT has a lovely sharp little tickly kick and mostly smells really fresh to my nose. Unlike Coco M. She is nice, but I don’t love her. I love all Chanel No. 5 formulations. I am positive I will adore Gabrielle parfum and I will be sure to cherish her when I have saved up. Thank you.

I love essence. It layers amazingly with D&G Devotion

I didn’t like the original but Gabrielle Essence is beautiful and elegant to me… i get tons of compliments on it too… I’ve had men ask the name of it to purchase for their wives….to my surprise a group of young ladies ( early 20’s) were like “ you smell so pretty!!”….. I think it’s a safe blind buy pretty scent

Definitely agree with you. Its a safe perfume. Its well blended and easy to wear.

Gabrielle Essence has grown on me. It's one of those fragrances suitable for every occation, an easy reach. In a way quite elegant. I'm interested to see how it works in the winter.

I love the angle of this video. I love how the light bounces off the sides of the bottle and golden liquid inside. It's just a shame that the fragrance isn't as beautiful as your review.

Accurate! First feeling, send salesperson for Gabrielle....by the time she was back (it had dried on my wrists...) I apologized & asked for Gab. Essence, less metallic...warmer, everyday safer❤

So , as you know perfume can smell quite different on each person, according to their body chemistry. It seems that what smells heavenly on everyone else smells like crap on me and vice versa. To give you an idea, No. 5 smells like pee on me 🤭. Anyway, the original Gabrielle EDP was one of my favorites for a while. It smelled really good on me in summer ( especially) after the dry down.. (Batch 2008). I have half of a bottle sitting and I got a bottle the essence recently( batch 7701).. It smells okay, but I think I’ve outgrown the ‘pleasantness’ (if that even a word ? ) of the fragrance. I’ve found myself reaching for fragrances as you would say, that are more for ME than to please others. I no longer care whether the perfume fits the season, or the weather. I’ve been wearing everything from Coco to Sycomore Carnal Flower , Rose Tonnerre . In the evenings at home I’ve been wearing Quelques fleurs and spraying it on bed linens..Also, I have an almost 20 year old bottle of Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca that I picked up at Harrods on one of my trips to London. I am in love with your perfume reviews, but especially that you have reminded me that I need ask no one for permission to do me. That is something that somehow this world beats into us and I miss that element of the young me. Thank you for always reminding us Dacob.. ❤❤❤

I smelled this last night .. smells nice .. clean and fresh.. which isn’t normally my jam but I like this one ..

Very hard to choose. It all depends on the time of year, season, weather, temperature, mood, energy, vibes… the perfume I might choose today and now might not be the one I would choose later today or tomorrow… 😅

Chanel is the Emperor. Olivier Polge is the weaver... Just saying..

I don't like this scent. To me, it is flat, generic, and doesn't say anything.
