I put the Adams Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating on my truck in Nov and it was pretty much dead by Feb so I certainly won't get 18 months out of it. I live in Eastern Canada so the winter is harsh and a lot of salt is used on the roads, my truck also lives outside 24/7.

Location: Texarkana, Texas: As I reported earlier, the Avalon King SIO2 spray was liking spreading vegetable oil on your car. It was very hard to level off. Recently, I applied one coat of Gyeon Mohs EVO and topped it off with a one layer of Can Coat EVO. It gave my car, which is Pulse Red, a lot of gloss and a candy shell appearance. The installation of both products was very easy, and I had no problems with hotspots or streaking. The new Mohs EVO application was the easiest to apply, as the product bubbles-up immediately after applying. There is no guess work as to when you should buff the product off. BTW, the new Mohs EVO is very slick after applying.

I found the Avalon King product very difficult to remove, but it appears they have a new version in the works. Gyeon Can coat Evo was very easy to use. The non EVO version that I've tested before set up very quickly.

It was a well needed vacation! Can't fly a drone "in" the park, but you can outside/around it. Made sure to follow the rules since I have a FAA license for it!

Glad to see Jescar Ceramic being tested, I use it as a topper on griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic. The initial gloss is noticeable, cannot really tell when it goes away.

Just bought a new car and am giving Griots a shot (based on your previous results) after a few years of being really happy with Turtle Wax.

Thanks Scott. That Sonex gave a great first impression. I will be interested in seeing if it keeps it up. If it can last a year I may switch to it. I currently get 8 months to a year from Maguire's Hybrid Ceramic spray. I live in New England and I have no covered parking. Yep, it's outside 365 days a year, in rain, sleet, snow, ice and sun. I look forward to future results. Keep up the great work 👍

I use Sonax Ceramic Spray over top CQuartz UK 3.0 and SiC...it's hard to tell its actual durability versus the CQ but I've always been impressed with its ease of use. It never...ever streaks on me even in direct sun. I'm in KC.

Hi Scott, what is your take on panel wipe down for removing polish residue? I noticed you used 35% IPA, gyeon prep, adams prep in preparing for the test panels in different tests. It seems opinions on what is appropriate IPA dilution ratio is vary widely among people. Do you think that those that say never go over 12% are being too conservative? By the way really appreciate all the time and effort you put in these products tests! I just ordered griots 3 in 1 to give it a try after watching your tests.

The 3D & the Rhino Black Boost seemed to me to be sheeting a bit & looking like they’re gonna be fast failures.

The Michael Scott 'that's what she said ' was hilarious! Great video too. I'm planning on either putting two coats of Fusso (old formula) or 3 coats of 303 Graphene nano coating on my car as I think that the Opti Coat 2.0 is pretty much done after 6.5 years! Having cerebral palsy and chronic muscle wastage in my shoulder I think the best whole process of washing, decontamination, machine polishing and application will take me well over a week. Which of the two above mentioned coatings would require less elbow grease to apply?

Fusso will definitely require the most "muscle". 303 is going to be far easier

Wish you did Mckees' hydro blue pro instead of the 365. I'm getting 1+ year on a garaged daily, seeing nothing but touchless car washes through winter, I only handwash 2x a year.

My guess at this point is that both will likely be decent performers. Having tested griot's a couple times already, I'd feel safe saying you'll get a solid 6-8 months out of it before it starts to diminish. The Adams advanced, this is the first time testing it.

Could you do a square on a section of the unprotected portion of the white PPF with the 303 Graphene? Curious if it affects the color. Also, might be interesting to do a test of these that need a few days to cure on a panel that's washed the next day. As consumer-targeted products, the majority of users will be at the mercy of Mother Nature and may not have a garage to store their vehicles in for a week.

Absolutely. It is highly dependent on WHAT product over WHAT coating, however. I've experienced some of these actually making hydrophobic properties worse when used on top of a ceramic coating. There are others specifically designed for it. For example, Avalon King boost over their coating, or Black Rhino Boost over their coating. I would say if it is something like Griots and you're wanting to use it on something like a car coated with ceramic pro, I would try it out in an inconspicuous area first before doing the whole car.

there’s a reason your opinion has weight to it when installing these products. Would be near impossible to find someone who has used/installed/tested/evaluated more products.

I would have to agree. I try to think about those that are installing it without a garage (like a carport or similar as long as it's shaded). If they get tacky in my climate controlled shop installing as instructed, they definitely are going to give you a hard time outdoors.

Would be interested to see what your take is on sonax profiline cc36 spray coating. I'm in AZ now, (formerly Dallas) with a ton more intense heat and UV but hardly any rain and definitely no freezing Temps

If that is the two part aerosol one, I believe I have tested it in the past and it was a pretty strong performer. Check out the spreadsheet in the video description for how it did.

@@ScottHD yep that is the aerosol one. Maybe mine needs a good decontamination wash. I put it on maybe 6 or 7 months ago and it seems to be dead now. Will check out the spreadsheet! Thanks!

How much clear coat is left on that hood? Have you ever tested protectants on paint without clear coat... any differences?

I can definitely do a single stage/enamel paint. This hood was repainted about 2016 - this is the 3rd test I've used it for, but probably the last since it is getting pretty etched from the vinyl labels.

@@vasileiospetropoulos2046 layering gets into an entire other ballgame... I don't have experience with layering TW products like that, but double layers does usually not equal double protection/longevity. Longer? Pretty likely

Reload I've tested a number of times...unless they have changed it which I don't think they have, i would expect 60-90 days from reload as a standalone

Correct. The spray states "made in USA" on the bottle. The coating is made in China

As a "French Canadian" I'm not sure how to take your comment. You are certainly refering to Pan the Organiser who does not appear to do full disclosures of his reviewed products. I get that part. The situation merits critique. But why refer to his origins? I'll let you answer before I say more.
