Center Serving HACK for PERFECT nock fit to make you more accurate. For those of you out there trying to know the perfect center serving fit for your arrow- here's an awesome little Hack to give yourself all the obvious options. This is so important and certainly not an easy choice if you have replaced your factory center serving or bow string. The bottom line is that different colors, different fibers, different brands all have variation in the thickness of the string. Because of that variation you will have several choices on the serving spool and method you choose. This little hack let me hear and see first hand, what center serving I need to be using for the nock I am using as well. This can add up the point really fast downrange.

I'm doing a serving without tails. I take a wooden screwdriver, separate the string and thread the tail 2 times, then I do the serving. In the end, I do the same thing. As a result, the serving does not slide along the string, you can forget about it and enjoy life.
What size type string do you use for serving on the cable?
I just wish I could keep my loop from separating my serv. I feel I have tried everything.

Don't crank on it with pliers when you tie a new loop. Tightly wrapped serving helps
