I expected a more fancy grave of Bert Newton rather than just a simple cross.

1:32 The Demis Roussos spoof was a real gem! Cracks me up every time I see it. Pity you didn't show where Roussos himself comes storming out and puts his hands on Bert's shoulders. The look on Bert's face was *priceless!*

Brilliant job Paul. Very respectful and a digital memory that will show new audiences what these men were like. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

I’m 38 years old, but grew up in Melbourne watching Bert everyone day on tv. He was a legend living, and a legend now that he’s passed.

Thank you for showing the grave of Albert ( Bert ) Newton . It was done with dignity & respect as are all your videos. It made it easy to find . IHave you considered putting which lawn sections , row & grave numbers on the channel so others can pay respects. I visited it yesterday. Thanks .

Thanks, I didn’t keep a record of where they were buried but I found it quite easy to find the locations. Sometime I may go through the raw footage and the put the directions in the description.

Another comment, please do a Late Show special. I have the champagne edition DVD and watch it from time to time just to relive the classic jokes and humour these guys put out.

@@morkmorgs2188 one of, if not, the best comedy shows in australia. That and frontline. Which is no surprise. The humour is just so smart. And Frontline honestly right up there too. Now I need to go watch it on STAN.

"Bud" Tingwall was a Photo Reconnaissance pilot (Mosquitoes and Spitfires) in World War 2, flying 75 sorties in the Middle East. It was because he could supply his own RAAF Flight Lieutenant uniform that he was able to act in the 1946 film "Smithy" as a control tower officer. it was the beginning of a great career.

Another thing Charles “Bud” Tingwell was in was the mini series Changi which was based on a group of ww2 prisoners of war survivors and is well worth checking out it has some really good supporting actors like Stephen Curry , Mark Preistly to name a couple.
