Watching and missing Sylke Faya again. I have no real explanation for why one foal will me captivate more than another. They are all so wonderful.

How nice to revisit Pjirkje and Sylke Faya! We get to enjoy, once again, watching the close communication between mare and foal, and to see this Friesian baby flying on her long, long legs, beginning to feel the joy of just being a horse! May they enjoy a long and peaceful life in Denmark!

Little Sylke Faya is another cheeky and speedy filly 😍😍😍! Pjirkje is a great mum too, and is obviously proud of her daughter 😊😊. I bet that Sylke and Sanne are currently great friends in the field, and enjoy racing about together 😍😂😍😂! When Pjirkje and Sylke Faya travel to Denmark, I'm sure that they'll be well loved and cared for in their new home 😊😊😊. Wonder how long it will take them to learn Danish 😂😂😂!?

Glad to be joining others in watching, with ads, to help keep the channel strong while Yvonne heals. Sylke Faya was one of my favorites as well. I'm sure she is treasured and brings joy in her new home.

Usually anyone that afford to buy 2 friesians can give them a great home and give them tons of love and attention.

I've read lots about what good mothers mares are, protective, patient, so on. But to actually see their mothering (? speciesism?) behaviours, minute-by-minute and in closeups, is so special and rewarding. Thank you, Yvonne and your busy site---Friesen Horses.

I love seeing the mares having fun with their foals. Really special 😊. Thank you

There is nothing like watching a Mare and her Foal romp around in an Arena. I raised Arabians for 40 years and I never got tired of watching my Mares and their Foals. Some Foals are little racers, they run around kicking and bucking while their Mothers chase after them, bucking and kicking themselves.

I spent three years with my cousin to learn the breeding aspect of horses, and she raised Polish Arabians--gorgeous animals! Still miss them 15 years later.

@@visse264 yvonne posted one time a few months ago....that you tube notices how many views and comments and likes a channel gets and at some point they think this is a pretty good channel and they give it more exposure...I think that is why she puts on the videos to like the video and leave a comment. I am very happy for the channel....I wish people would read the comments a little more or read the captions because people are asking the same questions over and over...but it is good to have the new subscribers....the next award for you tube channel owners is 1 million subscriptions...who knows this channel may make it

Folks that buy these very expensive horses are going to give them the best. The horse community is fairly small and word would get around fast if they mistreated horses.

@@spikesgirl9371 Wish I could believe that - unfortunately many yards mistreat their horses, including breeders (and owners of elite sports horses). Yet they almost always seem to get away with it. I know a couple of breeders myself from whom I'd never ever buy for how poorly they treat their animals (and see them more like items with which to make money) and yet one of them isn't doing badly at all. Hopefully it's different in Denmark though, and even if not, that they are definitely going to a great home :)

Little Miss Heavenly Fairy is keeping mama Pjirkje on her toes this years foals are all little race monsters with things to do they’re adorable little babies on stilts 100% legs.💗💗🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🤗🤗

I am glad they were sold together. Also, I'm impressed how Sylke Faya and the other foals can make tight turns without breaking stride. It's fun to watch.

Love the natural flying lead changes that foal has. Lots of talent and such a beautiful mover even at only 9 days old.

What graceful creatures these are. The momma is light on her feet.

It's fascinating to see how different even foals look based on the breed. For example Sylke Faya and Rising Star are about the same-ish age and same height, but Sylke Faya's legs are far thicker and more powerful looking, while Rising Star's legs seem almost delicate. Granted Rising Star is a different breed and I think I saw that his dam was used for dressage, so that's probably what he'll excel at, whereas Sylke's dam is built very well for driving, and so she'll probably be great at it too. But also... how adorable are all of the foals? Very, is the answer!

Centuries ago, Friesians were one of the horse breeds used to carry knights in armor so they've been historically bred to be very sturdy. Rising Star, on the other hand, is most likely from a breed emphasizing endurance in terms of speed rather than strength and so the muscles and skeleton are not as bulky and heavy. It's a bit like comparing a rugby player to a swimmer -- while both are very athletic, the swimmer probably has a leaner frame with longer and lighter muscles than the rugby player.

rising star is indeed a much finer-boned breed. even his little head is delicate. all horses are beautiful i think, the most beautiful animal in the kingdom. i just want a pasture pet. :-)

I thought they already went as Yvonne stated this video today is from March 18. But in an earlier video, Yvonne said she'd wait six weeks before sending Pjirkje and Sylke Faya to Denmark. Refresh my memory, please, since you keep track of the details so well. Yvonne doesn't want to send a really young foal on a trip???

@@virtualselfie6899 They were seen in yesterday's video, which was shot last week, so I assume they are still there. The video in which Yvonne announced that they were sold was from the end of April. (the actual sale was a few days earlier). I think the trip is planned for mid-June, although that probably depends on Sylke Faya's development. Maybe Linda knows more.
