Carlos Mayo Nieto - 3 x 3km Threshold Intervals

Carlos Mayo Nieto - one of Spain’s strongest distance runners over 1500 through Half Marathon is getting ready for the European Cross Country Championships in 10 days time with a threshold workout of 3x3km with around 1min30sec recovery.
Joining Carlos in the workout are some of Spain’s fastest distance runners - Toni Abadia and Camilo Santiago. Coach Jose Luis Mareca also overlooks the workout in Zaragoza.
Carlos has a great Strava account, posting all workouts he does.

    sub 9 minute 3k repeats is just impressive, I did 9:05 on the track once and it hurt a lot.

    Big supporter here with a random thought. Maybe it would be nice to have a visualisation overlay of the loop on the left or right side of the screen when they start running, with elevation info. Room for some visual info touches here and there. Thanks for everything man.

    @@kylestephens9593 Its to difficult to know exactly what they are talking about even though im from spain. I think they are talking about that the guy in mask hasn't ran in abut 3 weeks and he wasn't feeling very good after the warm up. Then the guy that is not wearing the mask says told the other guy that he has ran pretty during the workout. I've tried to understand more but i don't have my headphones right now so I can't understand more than that
