I love how the person doing the timestamps just got bored halfway through doing them 😂
What a lovely modest humble guy George is....very likeable.

These two made history and awesome to see how they changed over the last 10 years. Groves is a humble lovely lad who has changed a million percent and carls exactly the same 😂😂😂😂

I think there both very decent lads, this is what sport is all about,I love football and boxing, like hearing Wenger and Georgie sit down and chat
Absolutely brilliant stuff lads! 1:45 George couldn't help laughing to himself as Carl has already interrupted him in less than 2 minutes! Lmao. Legends of the sport!
Pure class lads and Carl and George thanks for the great nights and the memories !!
Great interview, i like both Fighters. I won money on Froch in both fights but i was a Groves fan at the time. I met Froch at a signing convention at Milton Keynes once and he was a nice bloke. I told him i won some money on the Groves fight and he asked for his 10% 😂
Love to see these two are friends after 2 great fights.

The part where Carl described giving up on his last run before he retired was a huge insight into what these warriors go through emotionally on a daily basis from a young age. Fair play to both of these guys. Had some amazing nights watching both of them box 🥊🥊🔥

Couldn’t agree more. Really hit home
Carl’s record speaks for itself, these two together are gold.
Love how down to earth these guys are. Carl is full of honesty about the battering he took in the first half of the first fight. Two great fighters. Absolutely fascinating hearing the technical analysis, their styles and punch power, the training, last week of camp etc. This is a brilliant video.
Love listening to these two. Great chemistry.
The ending for the Taylor fight still gets better every time you watch it unreal from the cobra. The last British boxing rivalry with a bit of needle, actually giving the fans the fight when we wanted it just takes the buzz and excitement levels to watch must tv. The ringsides, gloves are off, beyond the ropes 2 episodes, all of it was class

That Taylor round 12 still gives me goosebumps! I must say though, I quite enjoyed the Whyte/AJ rivalry and the Bellew/Haye one, I wouldn't say Groves and Frochy are the last good British rivalry.

@@powpow9560 bellew and haye were on the phone to each other. It can’t be mentioned in the same breath as froch groves. Haye was in bits. AJ/Whyte was decent I give you that but it’s the way George sold the fight that made it huge
Lovely to see Carl & George hanging out together as mates. They gave us arguably the best domestic rivalry of all time. I was shocked and mesmerised by the first fight and how it unfolded, George telling everybody exactly what he was going to do and did exactly that, and for Carl I don't know any other fighter that took that much of a sustained beating and was still there in the 9th. Huge respect to both. I was fortunate enough to get a ticket for the Wembley rematch and it's something I will never forget.
These 2 re lit the whole British boxing scene, a young brash George who was so intelligent and crafty played the perfect villain Carl never knew what hit him litterally. Carl learned a harsh lesson in Manchester and didnt repeat that mistake. Thankyou boys for some of the best boxing memories ive ever had

Absolutely. I was shocked and mesmerised by the first fight and how it unfolded, and I was fortunate to nab a ticket to see the rematch at Wembley and its something I'll never forget 🔥
That was awesome! Loved it! Well done boys!
Absolutely brilliant podcast froch groves what a rivalry brilliant friendship now 👏🏼
1:27:00 - Around this is why I will never get tired of these two. Both absolute legends in their own right, a chapter in boxing that will never be forgotten, and now friends and still giving little digs, but from a position of love and respect, making this all the funnier. You’ll likely both never read this, but Carl Froch and George Groves thank you, you absolute (expletive) heroes of the sport
George did well getting Carl to open up and talk about his career.
Great to see some actual long form content between these two.
Brilliant, Loved it Thank you
Love the way this rivalry has blossomed. Epic back the. Epic right now. To absolute legends that make an awesome double act! Fair play
You guys are absolutely brilliant.
Just subbed to the podcast. I must say, Groves is one hell of a great guy - great energy, and a natural podcast host. He is so humble though, and (imo) more mature than Froch. I like Carl Froch though, and to see them as friends now is fantastic. What a rivalry back in the day! Hard to believe its 10 years ago. It was SO exciting to watch back then. Legends!
Deserves a SUB! I could listen to these guys all day...two great fighters... two real sportsmen who don't pretend to be bigger than the sport itself. Cheers from Canada!
Absolute class. Such a great dynamic. Everything just flows. More of these, please.
Froch and Groves...legends. Real fighters! Love the fact that they knocked the crap out of each other but can put it to one side and get on the way they do...proper geezers!
Nice seeing them cool friendly and joking about it
Love the respect and friendship these pair have ❤
this is absolutely brilliant , pleasure to listen too !!
Brilliant pod boys nice one enjoyed that 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
It's brilliant the way they banter each other these days, proper legends of the sport 👏
This was my fall in love boxing rivalry !
Really enjoyed this.
Class stuff! Great to see both guys healthy and wealthy still working in the boxing capacity. Who’s have thought all these years later they’d be touring and still talking about that legendary rivalry.
Two absolute legends
The first fight was the most memorable, It was amazing and ive watched it again tonight for the 100th time.. A real genuine battle of a Boxing star versus an unknown to the general public and WoW oh WOW ! what a fight it was too, then the drama of it being stopped was so shocking.. you guys couldnt have written it better.. absolutely fantastic.. Congrats to both of you for giving us one of the best fights in British boxing history in my humble opinion. Just totally Awesome and a real edge of seat watch
Carl dresses like he’s still 17 haha, great podcast huge respect both!

Fantastic insights great show .
Love these 2 now. Groves knew how to sell a fight, if he was a wrestler he'd be great on the stick! Edit: You've got a new subscriber!
Belting pod cast lads! The 1st fight George also changed trainers in camp and had the crowd against him.
This is SO GOOD to see. Love the fact they get on. After sharing what they did it’s awesome. 👏👏👌
This is a great watch, it’s always good to hear about the behind the scenes stuff.
These two alone were responsible for resurrecting UK boxing. Before these 2 fought they’re had only been a couple of stadium fights in the 10 years prior to their Wembley scrap now it seems a regular occurrence. Respect to both of them

You can tell they're proper mates now. Really relaxed with each other and taking the mick out of each other. Good video

One of the best chats / interviews I have seen in a long time! I swear Froch was out cold when Groves landed that shot in the first fight. Hitting the canvas woke him up 🤣
This was really good - Thank you 👍👍
BRILLIANT PODCAST.. could listen to it for longer...
I could listen to these two all day. Legends of British boxing
froch vs groves were defiantly my favorite rivalry growing up! got to admit i was a cobra fan all the way but i grew to like George a lot after that going onto winning a world title and giving us some amazing nights in boxing! already listened to this 2/3 times! now its time watch 😎
A rarity in this sport. 2 genuine guys. Honest and straight forward. A joy to watch.
2 great blokes. Pleasure to listen to
Love these guys 👌🏻.
Brilliant to watch from 2 guys hating each other and becoming good friends and brilliant boxing stories keep it going guys 👍
Best pair post boxing
BRILLIANT...
That was a brilliant interview...funny as ##ck but oh so serious too...Hour and 45 minutes of absolute classic chatting guys!!! What a great insight into the journey of the careers of some of the greatest of British fighters ;0) Quality .....
I remember all of the build-up to both of their fights absolutely great they are friends
Fantastic Insight - Thank you 👍👍🥊🥊🎵🎵
Their first fight got me into boxing. Absolute legends
Lads, use are 2 icons and thanks so much for the boxing use performed over the years. Absolutely brilliant pod cast 👏
You can tell George is a really lovely guy. One of the best boxing podcasts I've ever seen to be fair. Hilarious and seriously insightful. Carl has ego for all to see, none more so than George, but you can tell their's deep respect between them, and genuinely good mates. Love the work they now do together. Their analysis and punditry is second to none. Fucking great banter too.
Who would love to see James DeGale as a guest. George and James had a genuine rivalry. It would be interesting to see the dynamics between them two now that a lot of time has passed.
Could of done with more questions thrown at George, still a good in sight into Carls mentality !
…but *that shot* ..that I *knocked you out with* In front of 80,000 at Wembley when I landed on the mandible section *rendering you unconscious* 😂😂😂
like how honest these 2 are about topics and feeling. straight honest content. still not seen another boxer uk like these guys yet, when i try think
Fantastic watch
Cracking podcast George. Great seeing the Cobra on... and in good form too. 😂
George Groves took the second fight with more caution and paced himself alot more. This is why Carl managed to catch you to him with a sweet shot
2 legends 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
2 great fighters and now good friends, nice to see.
Don't watch a lot of boxing, but these 2 fights (including Groves playing the villain in the build up) were the best fights I've watched, and I've watched them on KZread several times since. Great episode.
Love it 👏🏻♥️
Great listen.
This podcast consistently delivers and this may be the best episode yet. I think this shows how big this British rivalry was the fact everyone loves to see these two together. Carl has turned me round to be fair. Perhaps second only to Eubank/Benn unless I’m missing something really obvious.
Carl’s come a long way in broadcasting terms since that first fight monologue that went on forever and was the real reason fans started booing!
Both these guys deserve their successes and fortunes
An hour in a realised i listened to this a year ago haha, still kept it on.
Quality to see fro h and groves bantering each other
Both amazing super middleweights who have given me many hours of entertainment over the years, I am happy they have given up their grudge so we can get to hear them tell their story. I would of loved to have seen Froch fight Calzage as it would of been an epic battle, Joe wins it in my book simply by out boxing him for 12 rounds
Top guys keep it up
I've seen froch fight a few times tuff as old boots earned his respect
Brilliant as ever
"Frock would have been easier to rhyme than Froch"😂 Nice one George👍🏼
Great show.
Great interview, Carl comes across Great, and yeah for George to come back after the second fight and become world champion, hat's off
Love how humble froach is 😂😂😂
It just shows how much you can genuinely hate an opponent at the time of fighting him and in time bury the hatchet and move on and be mate's ? Something they both said would never happen in a million years ! They both have got more Matey as the year's have gone by ! It's fantastic and great to see ! Well done Lads ! Both warriors in that ring ! Thanks for all the great night's of Boxing you gave us ! Massive Respect ! Toplads ! 👍🥊🏴
i love this
How many fans were there at the rematch at Wembley?
Nothing makes Carl happier than when he’s talking about himself
Ali Foreman, Tyson Holyfield, Froch Groves. I wonder if Fury Wilder will be on a pod in ten years. Great stuff gentleman, very entertaining.
Went and watched both fights live! Was a great experience. I can definitely say there was no empty seats. Fury vs dillian there were as least 20’000 empty seats. Well played lads!
